I really wonder why Slowhand is so extremely shy as soon as it's about Gibson Les Paul. At least that's my impression.

lol, I watched the "Lucy" video earlier today, and it made me chuckle.

The Gibson custom shop builds this $15,000 guitar and Clapton spends 5 seconds talking about it...absolutely bored by it.
Why, because he couldn't care less, it's irrelevant, it's just another guitar with a couple of dings and dents replicating the dings and dents on the original.
Make a limited amount of them, charge $15,000, and keep the accountants at Gibson happy.
Meanwhile you can build the same guitar for $2000 in Japan, or $1000 in China.

I hope the proceeds of these $15,000 guitars go to charity.

Wouldn't Clapton having any passion for an LP be about like Hendrix or SRV doing the same? He's been a Strat man for a looong time. (granted his tone is pretty creamy and far from vintage when using his 20db mid boost circuit)
