black bird ok, im in there. but wen i record the dry track monitoring the wet track, i need play for record the guitar signal, my question its how when i finish to record the dry mono track y can listen and change the rings and settings of gain listening the track of corse
Kind of difficult to understand what you are saying. But after you have already recorded the dry track, you just play it, without the recording arm enabled, and without monitoring enabled. The only tracks you want to monitor are the wet and the rest of your mix. As it's playing, if your cables are correct, and you have the wet track monitoring enabled, you should hear the output from the KPA. Once you can hear it and your mix, you know it's working right and you can begin changing rigs on KPA to audition sounds. I use Logic and Reaper, so I am not sure if your problem is specific to Cubase, but most DAW's have the same general features. Sorry can't be of more help. Maybe your video will make it more clear.

yes i can listen the monitor of the wet track from kemper but when i play the guitar if i turn off the monitor off the wet track , i only listen the dry track but with the clean signal. get it?

Is it possible your output is not set to s/pdif?
-
the output go to monitors in stereo, if i put s/pdif i can´t listen anything.

quitty can you upload photos of your settings?

You're not outputting anything to the KPA.
Try and understand the signal chain:
I: Cubase dry track -> II: KPA -> III: Cubase wet track.Lets break this down:
I:
input: Dry track is already recorded, so it doesn't need an input.
output: The output needs to go to the KPA - so if you want to do it by s/pdif, output needs to be s/pdif - let's say s/pdif left.II:
input: s/pdif, right? so click input, page until you find 'spdif input' and turn it on.
output: s/pdif again.III:
input: s/pdif. we are already using the left, so this one needs to be s/pdif right.
output: anything else that's plugged into your speakers. Can be another s/pdif, an analog out, whatever.
If you know what amps you want, you don't even need an output - just record over that track and then disconnect all the weird cabling and bring your system back to normal after you have a processed signal saved.Another option:
I:
input: Dry track is already recorded, so it doesn't need an input.
output: Any s/pdif.II:
input: s/pdif.
output: s/pdif again.III:
input: s/pdif. Right, left or stereo depending on how you set the output of the KPA, but one of these has to work.
output: anything else that's plugged into your speakers. Can be an analog out, whatever. The way i do it, as i only have one s/pdif port:
dry track output to analog out,
standard guitar cable from analog out to input of KPA,
output of KPA to s/pdif in of wet track,
record and monitor armed on wet track. -
I've never used that DAW, and my Spanish is poor. But it looks like you have the Dry track as a SPDIF input (Entradas). The dry track should already be recorded and therefore you don't need your guitar for it, nor do you need it to be an input. The only parameter to set on the dry track should be Output and it should be SPDIF going to the "SPDIF IN" of the KPA.
Looks like you have wet track as SPDIF input, which is correct, that will carry the processed sound from the "SPDIF OUT" of the KPA.
Again, I can't be for sure, but see if you're routed correctly. -
II:
input: s/pdif, right? so click input, page until you find 'spdif input' and turn it on.
output: s/pdif again.output of kemper s/pdif gif/mod mono?

when you press 'play' in Cubase - does the input light on the KPA flash?
If so, input is good.Next, what's the input on the wet track?
-
nop, no light flashing in kemper input
the imput of the wet track its the s/pdif right

is your s/pdif input turned on in the KPA?
Again, input -> page until you see it. 'spdif input'.
-
yes men that it´s activated
-
the things its that kemper not have any signal pro my daw, its strange , maybe with one s/pdif cable?
-
hwaaaaa why dont work :((((((. what can be!!

Sorry, dude - didn't mean to abandon you, i was somehow under the impression you got it working...
Don't know why.Anyhow, i'm hoping i'll be with my beloved toaster tonight, i'll throw you some settings pictures.

Hi
I don´t know if it helps to set DAW to sync slave to SPDIF in.
KPA has to be master I think.
When I am reamping I set SPDIF/output to Master stereo and make a new Stereotrack in DAW with SPDIF in
It´s the only difference I am using from your description.
(Using Nuendo).
Hope it helps
