You need 2 trs cables (stereo), not mono.
Ah ok thank you. In the user guide it says the Toe switch (output 2 on the EP1-KP) should be used with a regular mono-cable and TRS for the expression pedal itself (Output 1 on the EP1-KP)

Either I really can't understand all the tutorial videos how to set up the pedal or understand the User Guide but I can't get the Toe switch to work. As it says in the user guide I used a mono switch, tried both to connect it to my Remote and the back of my PowerHead. I went into System and changed that pedal to be a mono switch as well as the slot in the signal chain I wanted it to turn on/off. It wouldn't work and after a few hours of trial and error with a worrying large amount of error, I'm close to giving up on it.
I wonder, why don't you ask support directly?
Faster reply here and can't wait for supports answer. Need to get it fixed pretty urgently
I'm about to ship my Kemper Remote for repair and I'm wondering if the "Kopie der versenders" need to be on the outside of my package.
As the title says. The purpose with this is to try to identify if there's something wrong with my profiler, cable, remote or maybe all three. The lights on the back of my PowerHead Profiler don't light up when I plug in the Remote, and the Remote doesn't turn on (if you look at my recent post it's cause I suspect it's broken). But is there any other way to supply your Remote with power to be able to see if it might be the ethernet port on my Profiler that's faulty?
Hey, that's too bad.
Time to contact Kemper Support
Contacted them, they said that this shouldn't happen and to try with a different cable as well as clean the Ethernet ports on the Kemper and remote. Are any standard Ethernet cables compatible? They also said if the problems isn't solved after that, that they'll try to solve the problem in other ways so I'm fairly certain it's covered by warranty. Especially since this is something that, if there's nothing wrong with the cable or ports, should happen.
Three hours later - is it working now?
After about 24 hours of letting it "thaw" and not plugging it in at all, just letting it rest, it doesn't start, the display doesn't show anything and the backlights don't light up.
It's -1 degrees celsius outside, I've been outside for maybe 15 minute total walking to and from buses/the subway and when i plugged it in the remote doesn't start up or display anything. Is it permanently broken or does it just need to "thaw"
Hi, when using it in a live situation I've used the monitor output into a DI/line box straight into the mixing table. It's produced a thin sound with lots of punch disappearing and the guitar sounding very sterile. Is this cause I'm using the monitor output instead of main output or is there FHO just not very high quality and cuts off some frequencies?
As it says, i have a kemper powerhead and I need to use a regular amp (peavy, fender stuff like that) as a cabinet. which output do i use on the powerhead into the amp?
