Zu spät zur Party, aber auch von mir: Alles Gute zum Geburtstag!!!

Well, consider me neutral, too... Only a small adjustment in my workflow is no problem.

VERY good news!

Hey Andy! What's cooking at your place? You make me very curious...

Welcome! Awesome website!

Hello friends,
What do you mean, sooner or later?
You're not a professional?
You buy something at the store or internet and you'll only get the 2/3.
But you pay full. From now on you're own fault!
Here is a place maybe you can do something about it!
Think about it!With all due respect, the existence or non- existance of an editor has nothing to do with being professional or not.
The KPA in its current incarnation is totally capable of doing it all, including live work, in conjunction with a generic midi controller.
Best advice for you would be to get rid of all the rigs that you only 'might play sometime' and only keep about 30 rigs you really have a use for in your daily musician live.
Anything beyond that would be overkill and counterproductive anyway.
Try it! -
Sorry, double post.

I want to follow up on this thread.
First of all: thank you all for your opinions and proposals. The free space on the left top corner was indeed reservated for a Looper button.
I could also imagine a more compact layout with five buttons per row only, as some of you proposed.
The looper function could be engaged by holding one of the bank buttons or the tuner button this case.Another drawback of the five button design is that the bank buttons had to go to the third row.
But maybe that is a convenient compromise concerning the smaller size. The position of the display is variable, it could sit in the middle but maybe better on the left side.
Please give me some opinions for the following questions. The questions do not depend in each other.
Would you like
- The six button design (bank buttons second row) or five button design (bank buttons third row)?
- The bank buttons left aligned or right aligned? (Some might like to use the left food while playing cause you don't move the guitar by your left leg)
- The rig buttons or the effect buttons on the lowest row? Thanks for your answers!
CK
I'm all for a 6 button design.
Bank buttons left.
Effect buttons lowest row.
Thanks for listening. -
The combination works great.
The HD 500 FX (= M 13, actually) are goodies anyway. Not to forgot the looper... -
Welcome on board...

When I look at the forum, every fourth or fifth thread nowadays seems to be one with complaining about missing functionality of the KPA.
I don't understand this attitude, as I'm actually busy making serious music with my KPA, incl. rehearsals and gigs.
There's nothing missing in the KPA's functionality today that could be considered a show stopper.
Don't get me wrong: I, too, have my wishlist of things that I want to see in the KPA in the near future, and I already voiced my opinion. It would be by far more productive and healthy for the spirit of the forum to make your points valid once or twice.
Everything has been already said, (albeit not yet by everybody).... -
I'm considering an HD500 to use for extra effects and as a MIDI controller. Are there any examples of the 2 being used together I may check out?
What examples are you looking for/ do you need?
I use this combination exactly like I described above and ist does exactly what I (and you) want: FX & Midi Controller. -
Wow, these are awesome! Especially the TB department is very well done. Can't believe how it cleans up like a good AC 30. And the Tweed section is right up to par, too.
I will definitely use these! -
Yeah, great songwriting abilities here, Eric!

This is so awesome.
I feel a bit like in Andy Summers solo projects land... -
You can restore the initial factory rigs from the systems menu. Easy. Just scroll through the pages in systems menu.
