Well, thank you for this fantastic profile!!
It's unbelievably rich tonally and you really have some talent capturing this tone.
I use it almost exclusively right now in my band.
A second profile of the same amp with slightly more gain would be most welcome!
Thanks again!

Hey there!
-
Well, that's a difficult question, as taste varies widely from user to user.
Normally I follow the discussions on the Rig Exchange sub- forum and make my mind up about a profile later on if I feel like it and if I think Something Sounds promising..
It can be hard to keep up (and will inevitably be near impossible in the future with more and more profiles floating around) but in the Kemper world it's more about quality anyway, not quantity of profiles.
It is like with real amplifiers: you fall in love with a profile and just play. -
Thank you very much for the profile! Awesome!
-
Superb. And I've got a weakness for that tune....

Have you followed this

Page 10, chapter 2.4.5
into detail?Just askin'...
It has to work.

muelrich, I'm downloading the FCB Manual right now only to see where the Problem could be.
-
Beautiful. Thanks!
-
If you want to use the FCB's pedals please make sure that they send Midi CC #1 for one (which is for volume in the KPA) and Midi CC #7 for the other (which is for the KPA's wah).
The KPA's system menu in this case is IRRELEVANT as it only determines how the KPA handles pedals that are connected directly. The problem is not in the KPA but how you program your FCB.
If your FCB has an UNO chip it's relatively easy as there are seceral good editors (e.g. Ripwerx).
If you use a stock FCB, programming is a bit tedious but also possible without any Problem if you follow the FCB manual. -
Arrgh, sorry for the typos... IPad's auto- correction gets on my nerves...
-
I was thinking of buying an FCB1010 that's available used, but have no familiarity with a MIDI controller. For example, what is the UNO chip? Is there something I should be looking for in this unit before buying it? If it doesn't have the UNO chip, what does it take to upgrade it? Thanks for any help!
The UNO chip enables the FCB to operate in two modes: down row is for preset switching, upper row is for stompbox switching.
You can order the eprom directly at the developer (http://www.ossandust.be/).
It's very easy to apply the UNO Chip to the FCB. I've done it twice. -
Oh great, thanks!

You secretly have been banned...
For posting too much... Muahaha...
Only joking.Seriously, I have no idea.

this exactly was the idea behind it. i wouldn't mind extra leds for superbright stages though... thanks all for the feedback! i really hope, that the official version won't be any bigger... what i like about "my" version is, that it should be pretty simple, not much programming and stuff. easy to implement. just 3 buttons with hold function, the rest is supersimple, yet all i would ever need. hold tap for tuner, hold pre/post for stomp invert, and hopefully: + for solo boost, and still i'd love to hold it for a future looper tool... what is left for programming like brightness and display contrast could be set through the system menu in the kemper itself. i know, this would restrict the unit to kemper users, but this is where we're headed anyways...
This is indeed a great concept. I like this one the best of all up to now. Excellent ideas, excellent work!

Have fun!
-
Not a single crash for me after one month of extensive use.
-
This should be a sticky!
-
I haven't done this yet nor do I intend to, but this is actually easy.
You need an USB- Midi device like the Midisport Uno or such.
Live needs to send program and controller changes at specific points of the song timeline for what you want. -
Is there any other info about the power amp? How many watts?
No, AFAIK not yet published.
-
Welcome! Well, I'm not yet 50 but I keep trying... I still play my original music with my own band.
