BestOf Vintage Pack - coming soon ...
(just selecting the profiles)
Edit: done
-
Yep, I believe this is all you need to do.
You can't name a profile (not even a synth patch) like the brand name and sell them.
The amps in the Line6 Vetta were named like the real ones in the first version - and were renamed very fast
-
Yes, I don't think it's a good idea to use real names for the profiles - and then even sell them.
This could be VERY expensive.
All my profiles/packs have similar but different names.
-
The KPA TS9 is not bad for a simulation - but I prefer the real one too - yes, I found the same that the more 'soft' settings work not this great - to just boost e.g. a Marshall does the inbuilt one work fine. (That was the reason why I created some profiles with overdrive boxes).
As you own my profiles - check the Overdrive pack - there is my real (old made in Japan) TS9 included.
You can compare with the inbuilt one. -
I just checked it - most of my patches have no such problems.
Aliasing is only be there when:
I play on the high e string (20fret and above)
The rig needs a lot of distortion (more than 15:00)
And a lot of treble (definition high and/or EQ before the amp block to boost the high frequencies)But it's still there.
-
I don't know about the latest updates - but the Axe and Torpedo used to have Speaker distortion - but I don need these parameters
-
Photos and Clips on the way soon!
First I must sleep for a week...At least a week - this was surely a lot of work!
Did you do all the profiling or do you have some help? -
Yes, this is digital aliasing
So, send this profile to Kemper support and let then check if they have the same (bad) artifacts on their unit.
-
-
I post less then the two above - but would also like to delete something from time to time.
so +1
-
I profiled a lot (about 1000 profiles) - but all my profiles have either Drive=0 for clean profiles or at least about 9:00 for distorted ones.
Was anybody able to profile something between 0 and 9:00?
-
Always wanted to create these tones with other digital gear - it did not work.
One profile and a Fender Strat.
-
I don't know these profiles - I talked about my own profiles.
My profiles are available for many volume/drive settings so you can pick the one which fit's best to your guitar/style.Some general trips:
1) Create input presets for all your guitars
2) If the profile was done for single coils, reduce KPA gain (it works fine for some profiles) and add some treble.
3) If the profile was done for hum-buckers (and you like to use single coils) - increase gain and reduce treble -
Is the profile great or not?
One of my test is, to make all kinds of strange guitar sounds - and check if it sounds more like plastic (synthetic) or real (like wood).
Hit the guitar strings, mute, palm mute, play flageolets ...
If it sounds like plastic - while the real amp in the A/B sounds great - I change mic and/or mic placement.
This works quite fine to check out guitars as well.
The worst check for gear is IMHO a you tube video where a very talented guitar player plays fast lines over a great backing track - everything sounds great by this
-
Sound great!
-
Yes, this would be cool - but I thing the KPA has not enough DSP power for that.
If it would be possible then it should also be possible to have two amps at the same time.
Maybe in a future version (or DSP upgrade ) would we be able to put two profiled blocks serial (one for stomps one for amp simulation) or parallel (two amps at once).
The build-in stomp box simulations are not bad - and I found that profiling the combination of stomp box and amp works very well - so I profiled my overdrive pedals before tweed and blackface amps and have all the options I need.
I think Lee profiled most of this amp both with and without stomp boxes too.
-
I sold my AXE FX....the KPA sounds more organic and is easier to handle
same here - but I miss some effects ...

1.5.1 works fine here
