Hey guys,
I am wondering how to best connect my BOSS-GT6 to the KPA.
My issue is that if the BOSS goes into the KPA, i am missing out on connecting it in stereo.
Can it be inserted as a loop?
And if so, how?
Would a loop be preferable to the guitar-BOSS-KPA chain?
thanks!

I didn't have a KPA back in the days (some of the recorded guitars in those tracks go back to 1995)
There is this clean funk or jazz sound that i find is best when going straight out of a multi-FX unit, rather than an amp.
I'm curious to try this setting from the BOSS into a good clean profile and see it can add a bit of warmth... -
Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
imall: hi there neighbor!
dan: i used a Schecter (Strat) directly into a BOSS GT-6 (compressor, delay, reverb), bridge pickup (Fender) -
"The 1968 Showman DI is back up on Rig Exchange.
A new profile of this amp, the vib channel on 9, will be posted later today."

Good workout too!

Thanks so much for the kind words!
All of those names are heroes of mine so the comparison is very flattering!"wow, Moonstruck is a great piece!
Just listened twice. Lot of changes in there. I hear Miles, Tony Williams, John McLaughlin, Freddie Hubbard, really took me on a journey there!
Nice!!!"
Classy stuff, thanks. -
Hi KPA fanatics!
A couple of world fusion tracks, pre-KPA, featuring some cool players (Richard Bona, Ralph Bowen, Chris Farr, Nick Manson...etc):

Can't wait to write new tunes with the KPA!

Hello everyone!
I'm a former World Fusion guitarist, turned media composer due to a carpal tunnel condition.
I studied at Berklee (1981 to 1984)
I left Paris to get back to the US in 1993, and i have been living in Philly for 7 years.
Totally dissatisfied with virtual gear, i started looking for a better tone solution two weeks ago.
After posting at VI-Control.net (a media composers site) someone recommended the KPA.
I did my research and jumped onboard.
It's been 10 days and i am completly hooked!
Love my KPA and all of the possibilities.
To boot, this forum is a very cool place, with a number of very friendly and helpful people, and some great guitarists!
Here are a couple of my world/fusion tracks for those interested:
Cheers!

Very useful, thanks!
I can't locate this profile and the link provided seems to be a MIDI file...Does the KPA offer Fender tube reverb?
If not, this would be a welcome addition! Here's a great article on choosing equipment for surf guitar:

There are a lot of great 60s Fender amp profiles here. I like the Dual Showman in this link, and I use it with And44's Fender Twin cab:
Now get out there and hang 10!

Hi there,
just got the KPA a few days ago and i like it very much!
Especially, for crunch and saturated sounds.
Not as impressed with clean sounds yet, but it may be that i haven't found great profiles yet...
Any one cares to recommend a few excellent clean profiles?
I am especially interested in surf tones: Dick Dale, The Shadows...etc and also some funk tones...etc
Thanks! -
