Used a few of the profiles yesterday. BTW, PayPal wouldn't work for me (USA, tried twice), so I used a CC.

The CCs are automatically determined by the function that you assign to the pedals. Wah is CC1, pitch is CC4, volume is CC7 and morph is CC11.
Does this work if the effect is not active? Could I use CC7 to control external gear when the wah is off?

So, the new 5.3 beta will forward CC pedal values for recording automation for reamping. That's good. Maybe soon I can start assigning some of these extra switches & pedals to output other CC messages?
I get by fine with 2 expression pedals on the remote, since I never use more than one of wah/morph/pitch at a time. I would love to hook up another couple of pedals to control outboard gear or DAW plugins.

possibly better if you're color blind?

I'm pretty excited about the MIDI improvements. Does this mean the "mother octopus" use case is still possible in the future? However, editing MIDI output on performance slots is tedious and begs for reasonable defaults (i.e., "default to position in profiler/performance") and management from the RM.
I didn't find an updated manual for this release.

Perhaps showing my age, I use the MBritt D-Pack a lot, his new AC-30 pack & his Colonial. Lots of others sprinkled in here & there, like the free & awesome Morgan AC20.

I would like to be able to set up switches & pedals to send MIDI CC out rather than map to KPA parameters. Since the head + the remote can accommodate 4 pedals, it would be nice to be able to use some of them for external gear. I can control volume, wah, morph & pitch all from 2 pedals. This feature would allow me to set up 2 more pedals for other gear in my rack or plugins in my computer while still only running the single Kemper Remote cable to my pedalboard.

I would like to have the option to have my performances send their corresponding MIDI PC (i.e., the one that the KPA would map to it from an incoming message) to MIDI out &/or through. That way, as I set up my performances I will automatically have a predictable output given the order of the performances without setting up each individual slot (which is quite tedious and error-prone).

I've had occasions when I've been surprised to look down & find I'm on "New Performance" upon changing performances. Considering the lag in response when changing performances, this can easily happen when you're skipping a song or two.

I had some parts of the case (primarily seams like those holding the velcro onto the handle) failing, so Kemper sent me a new one (Kemper support is great). Now it looks like I have 2 Kempers when I show up (I use the second one to carry the remote, cables, etc.)!
However, if I had it to do over again I wouldn't buy this case. The quality is nowhere near the quality of the Kemper itself, even though it demands a premium price. Too bad Mono or some other better quality partner wasn't chosen.

I also don't see the utility of scrolling out of range via the remote. It is more of a bug than a feature.
-
Given the long delay, I often hit Store one too many times & then have to press it twice more for a total of 6. If it would at least respond faster, the 3 presses would be more tolerable.

Had a very odd & terrifying experience while performing Sunday morning. I had 5 performances loaded for the 5 songs we were doing. Songs 1-4 went off fine (except for my momentary dropout when I hit the tuner button instead of the stomp switch I was aiming at, which resulted in pretty much the opposite effect of the boost I was looking for
).
I hit the button to switch to the next performance and apparently didn't look at the remote afterwards. As the next song started, my 2 measure solo in the intro sounded really bland. I looked down and saw "125 New Performance" on the remote screen. Fortunately, I was supposed to lay out during the first verse and frantically scrolled back to #5 using the dial on the head in time for the chorus.
I am totally not sure that I didn't hit the wrong button, or press it too many times or what, but I really don't think we should be able to scroll to an empty performance from the remote.

I found the threads to be easy to strip. Be careful putting them back on!

Why I have a hard time selling my H9Max, even though the new delays make it less necessary: they keep making it better, kind of like the Kemper itself.

REVERBS! Can't wait!
I've been scouring the forum and can't find anything definitive about this. I've sort of assumed that reverbs & overdrives would get overhauled like the delays, but afaik that's only happening inside my head. Did anyone from Kemper actually say new reverbs were in development?
PS
Very excited about the Editor. Configuring effects has become quite a chore. -
As the number of effect types grow and the number of presets grows even faster, it becomes more & more important to fix this wart on the UI.
