Anybody try them yet?

Here are some samples.
Using a 3rd Power Dual Citizen with Tweed Twin HP and Matchless Settings blended. Volume about 2:00 on both.
1.) Using Ox Alnico 50 421 Off Axis/160 On Axis
2.) Same with R121 Room Mic added
3.) DI no cabinet
4.) DI with Kemper 112 Alnico Blu added
Let me know what you think.

Would you mind posting you result using the OX please?
Got the Ox setup with the 3rd Power Dual Citizen, but have to make them tomorrow. I'll put them here for testing.

Has anyone tried to make a profiler with a speaker emulator, (UA OX
I am actually going to try this today. I have used a static speaker emulator before and found it less dynamic. Not horrible. Since the Ox says the emulation is dynamic I plan to try it against a cabinet and a DI profile.

Whatever your device interface is into the 1/4" Kemper Alt inputs.
You can then adjust the levels into main, monitor etc. in output.
-
I know this is pertaining to headphones but this aux in stuff is good for jamming through the FRFR and FOH too. Since you can adjust how much comes through it's pretty convenient.
-
Feed your backing track through the alternate input and have both come out the headphone. See if that is better.
-
Any A/B should really be Kemper to Interface versus amp/cab/mic to interface otherwise there is some influence.
-
If I understand it correctly, the profiling process doesn't capture any time based information (including the reverberation of the room and anything in it). As the mic is generally so close to the speaker, and directional, the impact of any guitars in the room is likely to be minimal at most. I could be wrong on this though....
You are not wrong on this.

I think Ingolf is just extrapolating based on a wider view of feature request posts rather than just your post
Shouldn't do that. I've been around since before the Remote and rack version in the days of old.... The topic at hand was simply adding noise gate to a similar area as transpose and the like, saving a slot.
I am happy with what we have now.

Having said that it did light up briefly when touched but wouldn't stay on because it is a momentary switch
This is the key. I thought that either would stay lit if you engaged it so it would only be a matter of how you save the profile. I know better now. That is why the latching switch I have stayed on......
No more feature requests from me for a while ..

I’ve not seen any Indication that the KPA sends LED status signals to a connected footswitch
Right.
I'm saying so the supplemental footswitch LED lights up when in use like the remote does when the switch/slot is active. So if I use it for slot A and B it would show the light when those slots are active as the remote does when let's say my Delay is on. Lights just make me feel warm and fuzzy.....
Most of the aftermarket are non-led. My Eden switch I have, which is latching currently, does have LED so that is why I was contemplating just changing the switches so the LED on/off is maintained. I liked the fact that it lights up like the remote to also show it's active. Even though the screen on the remote indicates this it was a nice reminder.

Go for it where it sits at now. You can always move it and try again if you feel it effected the outcome.
-
many users are too lazy to think out of the box and demand a gigantic pedal
Who did this ??? It was a simply request to go along with the same way transpose and volume have been approached - which was a great move. No one was or is complaining or asking for a gynormous board. Easy request - either see the need and incorporate it or don't and leave it as is.
-
I've been checking that option out on Reverb as well. Looking at a 4 button, but would really like an LED that shows on/off just to match the Remote operation. More of a want than a need on the LED's.
-
Do you have long enough cables to take the amp in another room or closet and leave the kemper and FRFR where is sits?
-
Ok thanks. I will open it up and see about changing out the switches. They don't seem to cost that much.
-
I have the remote and was reading about adding a supplemental single or dual footswitch. I have one of these laying around so I tried it.

It will turn the slot on but I have to push it twice to turn it off. Been looking up info to see what switches but cannot find any info. It would be nice to make this work as it has an LED for on/off. I also have a Beat Buddy with footswitch and that worked perfectly. It doesn't have an LED but it does turn on and off with a push.

Where are you located?
If you can try an Alto 212 powered get one and see what you think. I've had 2 along with an EV ELX112P. I ended up getting Yamaha HS8's and have one with the EV for guitar and one with an Alto 10 inch for audio tracks. A Tech 21 PowerEngine 60 might be something you like as well?

I've had good luck with the clip on Snark or clip on Polytune. Locate it on the backside and I can visually see it while playing if need be. Roll the volume knob down on the guitar, quick check and ready to go.
