People are always asking for improvements, but there's limits to what and how fast can be computed. When you reach the ceiling, either you upgrade the hardware, or start cutting corners.

Kemper has already proved - I would say, after 10 years! - that they're not that kind of company to release a new hardware every 2 years just to get money out of our pockets, so I am sure if they did it would be to actually to bring next-level algorithms to the table, and given the quality shown so far I would buy something like that in a heartbeat.

And that is one reason why the kemper has become a succes. Users don't like to pay much for a thing that will be discontinued after a few years and need to sell it cheap just to upgrade to the new mkII and only to find in a couple of years they have to do it again. I guess many ex Fractal users are happy they purchased a kemper.

Yes if you use rig manager you can do it. Just click on the profiles within rig manager.

AI is neutral. Like a gun. Its not the gun that pull the trigger and kill . AI is the future. Whether you like it or not. It can be used for many good things but also many bad things too.

The thing is the gap between amp modellers has been smaller and smaller. From the pod to where we are now and you can't hear the difference between a kemper and a real amp, there won't be any new thing that makes you go wow, it sounds like a real amp, finally. It will be other things why users choose A instead of B.

If it's mainly on the low E it should have nothing to do with the kemper but your guitar need a better setup

So many, if not not most of the younger, new to guitar, don't go to the local music shop and buy a practice amp. They get a sound card and install amp sims instead.

Whenever a kpa 2 is released and kpa 1 will no longer be updated I will still be using mine and be happy as it is. I mean it was very limited in the past and still ppl made fantastic music. Just because we have so much more to choose from now doesn't mean music gets better. It only means we have more choices. In the end its all about the music.

Agree. I had to send my kemper to Germany during last summer . From support ticket to kemper back to me, the support is top notch.

I've gone thru so many free and commercial profiles/pack with 5150, Peavy or Fender version, but none has better than Max GoldLionStudios EVH5150. Everything from rock-metal works great. And the profiles sounds killer with all my guitars. Not many that do, free or commercial.

Sure you got a good point there. The same is true with other vendors. You can never be 100% certain their videos does contain the actual profiles. It could be the real amp you hear. I'm not saying I suspect that but like I said you never know.
