You shouldn't have to use 2 cables to record, but if it works - it works.
Changing the amps now is simple - you have 2 tracks for each 'run' you did of tracking - one of a dry signal and one wet.
Monitoring should be on the wet track, record arm should be on the dry.-pan your dry track 100% left.
-turn 'record arm' off on the dry track.
-turn 'record arm' on on the wet track. You can delete the file already there.if you play the track, it will put your guitar out the left channel, into the KPA, where it will be processed and returned on the right channel -
so you're playing a dry track left while monitoring and recording the right channel.
Have fun.Why would you need to pan the track?
I've never done reamping with the Kemper, but shouldn't it just be possible to choose "s/pdif out" from the track output routing, instead of panning the track. Then record to an empty track with the "s/pdif in" selected as input. This sounds like you're recording stereo out from daw, to stereo in, instead of mono?
At least in Reaper I have on every track the "sends, receives and hardware outputs" menu.

Yeah, I think these new profiles would work pretty well with the presence and treble dialed back and bass boosted slightly for the FOH sound.
Personally I like to cut from a bright base tone, trying to make a dark bassy tone cut through in a mix by boosting the mids and highs always adds noise and feedback.

If you swap the cab for a Tills Mesa the sound is more suited for low volume playing/recording. (My personal "go to" is 009).

which frfr u have (and which guitar/pus) ?
I use db Technologies Opera 410D wedges. Guitar was my 27" scale Ran 7-string with Duncan Blackouts. I also dialed these in to be used with earplugs (etymotic).

I just made these from some impulses I had laying around. Original impulses were downloaded from Noisevault.

No idea if these are any good either, I don't have my bass here atm.

I think I'll just use my EHX Magnum to power the KPA if I want to use it with a regular guitar cab. I mean, it's good enough for Stephen Carpenter with his axe-fx live rig.
I'll even have enough room left to stick a delay pedal in the back with it.

Don't blame the Kemper GmbH for this - the EU (European Union) has some really very strange, biased laws!!!
I'm guessing eu laws don't see the adding of the power amp as "modernization" but as building of a whole new device that needs to be CE-certified again.

Engl Retro Tube? Does anyone anywhere even own one of these?
-
^This. They're listed under the Type knob in 1.8.

you are right. I did some additional test and found out my expression pedal is not going all the way down to 0. I have two of them and one goes the other doesn't. so it is not a pitch fx bug but the damn pedal.
guess there is no way to fix it right? it should be a physical issue which is solveable only by changing the potentiometer.........
The pedal is not adjustable? Some have a fine tune knob on the side for this exact reason.

You sir are a scholar and a gentleman. Thanks!

Could someone please send me the CK Rotary profile. I dont have any stock profiles on my kemper
Me too! Or better yet, post a download link so anyone can get it?

Transpose sounds great in front of a dirty amp for downtuning. Absolutely no glitching on chords, great job ck!

Thanks for making these!
But the profile on the exchange says "no boost" but the video says Ibanez TS9, so which one is it?

Very nice!
