I have to say that this Kemper profile of the Doug Aldrich modded Marshall is awesome. I wanted to put together a couple of short clips that show how great it sounds in a mix. I haven't played for a little over a week so it is a little rough throwing these together on the fly. Thanks to Peter W for making this killer profile!!

Wow Pete! That OU812 sounds identical.

Sounds great! I love wet sounding tones like this.

Congrats!!

I ended up grabbing a used Alto 12" powered speaker for cheap. Will give it a twirl at my gig friday night!
Looking forward to hear your thoughts after the show.

I used TAF Trainwreck Push EFX profile. Love it! I have always loved this Christmas tune. Hope you like it!

Awesome playing and tone! I'll have to try those profiles.

Cool clip! Thanks for sharing! Which profile did you use?

Thanks for the nice comments all. When I started going to forums over 10 years ago I was a Gibson player. In the past 4 years I have become obsessed with Tom's guitars. I still love a good Les Paul but Anderson guitars just fit me. I have custom ordered all of them and they are exactly what I want. Love them!

This is excellent stuff!
Great tone, great playing.
You could do a gig with just this one Profile.
Is the one of Andy's free 1987X Profiles or a bought one? This is a modified version of the "lead" profile from the 1987x set under Amps Pack 2 on the Amp Factory website.

I have really been inspired by Neal Schon's playing the last few weeks. His sense of melody and phrasing has motivated me to elevate my ability to feel what I play. Thought I would do a quick cover this afternoon of one of my favorite Neal Schon moments. Obviously I didn't play it note for note as I try to do most things I play with my style. I mainly try to keep the main themes at play.
Either way, hope you enjoy it!

I was going through some of my old CDs recently and forgot about how much I used to like Testament. I remember buying the Testament - The New Order cassette back in late 1988. What a great album! I have liked about every version of this band and thought I would give one of their tunes a try.
Disclaimer to all metal players: sorry for the crap playing. I hardly ever play metal anymore and my stamina for this kind of music is just not there (more of a rock player). I know I am missing some of the actual pieces to certain parts of the tune (played it safe on the the last part of the intro lick). I also 100% just winged a solo. I just didn't have time to learn Alex's lead and quite frankly was just playing tribute to a great song.
I used Lasse Lammert's "Mean Bastard" profile which is described as the following:
QuoteMaxon OD808 > Marshall JCM800 2204with Soldano Hot Mod
> Mesa Stiletto 4x12 cabinet with V30s > SM57
This is a raw in-your-face tone with a throat cutting attitude and a lot of bite.I am no Mark Day or Fluff (Ryan) but I tried to make a quality vid for you all. It was fun to play and the backing track sounded great. I believe it was taken from their Live in London set and all of the guitars were removed.
