I have tried it out and it is a killer modded Marshall tone. I need more time with it but it is one of the better ones out there.

Sounds great dude!!

Actually I like your guitar clip better than Fluff's (no offense to Ryan).

I don't bother with global EQ with my CLR. I figure that's the whole point of getting a CLR in the 1st place. The only tip I have is to read the manual on gain staging.
I'm with Ben here. Not much to do. Play around with the setup and see what you like best. I think it sounds best setup as a traditional wedge. Sounds fantastic and gets better the louder I push it.

Wow, I love your Recto profiles. I have some from a couple of months back and these are every bit as great. Thanks for doing these. Some of the best Recto profiles available.
-
That was awesome!!! Loved it!
Could you share the backing track?

I have been thinking about some of my favorite solos ever recorded and was inspired to give this one a shot. I have always loved Hitch a Ride's outro lead. IMO, one of the best rock solos recorded. I used my Anderson Bulldog and Kemper Marshall JTM45 profile for the gain tones. I used a modified version of Ola's clean profile for the "acoustic" parts. I used just a bit of reverb for the gain tones.
I recorded it in standard tuning even though it was originally done in one half step up. I tried to use the Amazing Slow Downer but I thought it made it sound more processed. Soundcloud compresses the track/tones enough. Man, it was some work double and triple tracking some of leads to sound good together. Hope you like!

Thanks everyone! I'm pretty sure the problem was on the engineers end. I took the kemper back to my place and then took it over to a friends studio and we both were not getting any hiss at all. I'll be going back to his studio tonight and let him know that he should check his wiring/mixer setup since the problem is most likely on his end.
Along with the great people here on this forum, Id also like to thank Kemper support for being so top notch. They got back to me lightning fast after I had e-mailed them with my problem and then followed up with me to see if I was ok! That speaks volumes to me! Great Company, Great product.
Hey Ralph! Good to see you here brother. Hope you stick around!!

I hear how some of you have test it with music (i.e. and iPod). What is a good cable to use to hook them up? Thanks in advance!

Looks great! Make it available for the Mac.

Thanks for the compliments guys!
Here is the bass profile I used: Bass profile pack - AMPEG SVT BLUELINE - METAL

I haven't been playing the heavy stuff much lately so I thought I would give this one a shot. I recently downloaded the Lasse Lammert metal profiles for my Kemper and they are just awesome. I picked a profile called "Nineties First" with an explanation of the profile in his words:
QuoteMaxon OD820 > Mesa Rectifier Rackmount with Mercury Magnetics transformers
> Marshall 1960AV 4x12 cabinet with V30s > SM57
Very tight and articulate rhythm sound with not too much gain and an “open” harmonic structure.Lead was recorded using another called "Liquid Leads":
QuoteMaxon OD808 > Soldano HotRod 100+ with SLO100 Specs
> Mesa Stiletto 4x12 cabinet with V30s > SM57 + R121
No matter what guitar, pickup or tuning, this will put a smile on your face and inspire you...
I promise!I also used a killer sounding bass profile for the clip too.
As you can see I used my Anderson Pro Am. I know I didn't play the tune (rhythm and lead) note for note but at least my vibrato is better than Kirk's.

Thanks. Fun tune to play and this profile really fits the song well.

Hey all. I have been learning this tune for my cover band and thought I would share it with you all. It is a cover of Eddie Money's Two Tickets to Paradise. The guitars were stripped so everything you hear is my setup. It is a little more rocking than the original but I was trying to sound like me. Hope you like it!

Thanks for the great Soldano profiles, used them here : https://soundcloud.com/cybertwin68/seperate-ways
Not note perfect, but great sounding rig
Sounds great! From a recording standpoint, I would recommend recording two rhythm tracks and pan them hard left & right. That would make it sound much bigger from a stereo standpoint. Either way, the guitars sound awesome! -
Guitar: Any of my Tom Anderson Guitars (Classic, Drop Top, Bulldog or Pro Am)
Kemper Monitor Output: Mono can't remember the other settings
Atomic CLR Powered Wedge
I can play low or loud and it sounds fantastic. At home I keep the CLR plugged in along with my Tannoy monitors connect through the Mains. Sounds awesome! -
I want to give an update. It has been a month since I've posted, so I feel like I owe an apology.
I recently had a birthday, as well as started a new semester in college. So the personal time restraints are done for me.
I have finally finished my new studio. I am at this moment testing new tones. I think within this next week, I should have a new pack in the store. Thank you to everyone who is still buying and commenting on the first pack.
The next update I give will have an audio sample.Looking forward to it. Thanks for you efforts on profiling your amps. I know a lot of work goes into so thanks!

Sounds great Will! I have that Cornford profile but haven't played with it near enough. SOunds great!
