If u could that would be great

Oh well hope they release the power amp for the toaster version that massive hole in the back needs to be filled
companies are only legally allowed to release one product at namm, it's part of obamacare...
I've heard from more than a couple dealers, kemper is releasing much more than expected at NAMM this year, so everybody chill
That is great news if they do
Ive been analysing the rack photo pic for over an hour now(i know im very sad) i dont think its to scale. If you load the pic up on your phone (iphone) it gives you the log as being a little bit smaller than the logo on the front of the kemper at the mo. If you up scale it a little so the logo is the same size the screw hole make it a 2 unit rack. All those buttons on a 2 unit rack that would be cramped and a pain to work with.
If you think of marketing to. When watching a band how many times can you really see what it is in a rack?????????? you cant, but if you saw the kemper on top of an amp at a gig with out reading anything you would know straight away that guy is playing a Kemper that sounds killer im going to buy one of those.
Must say i love all the Buzz this is causing its great
PS i know im very sad for thinking to hard about this
What is the big hole in the back of the kemper for then why didn't they just cover it with a closed steel back plate
Loving this!!!!!!
Check facebook again another pick has been released looks like I was right about the power amp well I hope I was looking forward to buying one of these
When I bought the Kemper, I would've preferred a rack. Now that I ave the toaster, I would never want to go back to a rack. I love the compact size, all the dedicated controls, and I'm not using it in conjunction with other rack gear. I will be slightly disappointed however if they don't announce both a power amp and foot controller at NAMM as well. Not that I'd absolutely buy both immediately, but I'd like to see them focused on the feature set envisioned for the already released product...
+1000 on that
There is a big hole in the back of the KPA its not there for ventilation so when they designed it they must have had a purpose for it otherwise they would have covered it with a better back plate. Kemper knows everyone wants a a rack version so what better way to start a buzz about KPA by releasing a pic like this everyone is talking about it which is what they want. I'm dam sure its the power amp for the back along with the pedal and performance mode and everyone's a winner !!!!!!!!
Even if they are going to announce a rack version at winter namm, it could be a prototype and it could take a while until there are ready for a release. No need to worry.
That's a great point, come to think of it the toaster version suits my needs better than a rack would as I'm always moving it about. So power amp in the back nice, light and portable
Well, if it is a rack version, I'm still keeping my head version and waiting for the poweramp.
Some guys like rack stuff, they'll buy the rack, but the head/poweramp will continue to sell like crazy.
The head/power amp is definetly more portable than a rack so that's a big bonus. But I swear that pic is of a power amp for the back, otherwise why is that big hole there for
I don't understand why you'll be pissed off?
Why change the positive vibe of this thread into another complaints thread?
I'm not complaining just wish I'd have known I might of held off. But I still don't think it's a rack version. Just looked at the back of my kemper and that picture looks like the holes will fit where the screws are for that big gap in the back power amp it is
How would they get all the buttons from the original KPA on a 2 unit rack bet this is a big big big big tease (I hope so anyway only just brought mine)
If they release a rack version Ill be well pi#?ed off I only just brought my kemper before Xmas asked in all the shops that were selling them about a rack version they said no its not coming yet. all the features on the KPA at the moment don't work eg performance mode and undo and also there is no foot pedal available yet. They should sort this out first. I think it's rack ears for the kemper or the amp for the hole in the back
Ive been using my Kemper for about 4 gigs now. At the mo im running it through a monitor(Cheap wharfdale one) as im waiting for my Yamaha DXR10 to arrive. The first gig i did i must say the sound through the PA was great but it didnt sound to good through the monitor for me to hear . Through my experinece (ive been playing in bands for 16 years) tweaking sounds at home then using them live they always sounds different anyway so its takes quite a few giggs to achive the sound your after.
My sound is starting to get there id say 70%. Im planning on this week using my vetta head (just for the power amp part) and my 4x12 line 6 cab with Vintage 30's in and see what this sounds like. Im hopeing with this and the DXR10 ill get a really full big sound (fingers crossed)
Has anybody already checked if the problem also exist on the new FW 1.6???
I'm on FW 1.6
I have two and they easily stack up against a 4x12, agreed that they are tiny though
spence
Do you mean they give you the same type of feel as a 4x12 or as loud as a 4x12 I'm interested in this I've just purchased only 1 yamaha dxr10 which is small and light. Are you running them like monitors or behind you like a cab
Sounds really really great dude are you going to be uploading the profiles
