Ich habe ehrlicherweise noch nie darauf geachtet für welche Art Gitarre ein Profile gedacht ist. Interessiert mich auch nicht wirklich. Ich mach es an und dann heisst es entweder "Passt" oder "Passt mit kleinen Änderungen" oder "Weg".
Ich bin da vielleicht auch nicht so empfindlich. Wenn ich ein Profile richtig gut finde, dann mit allen meinen Gitarren. Ich hatte noch keins, wo ich gesagt habe: "Das geht aber nur mit der Strat".

I've bought a Line6 G70 with two transmitter (electric/acoustic). The transmitters are mounted to the guitar strap. The G70 has a footswitch to Switch from electric to acoustic. It worked very well.

I'm very pleased about tone and ease of use.

cool stuff and great playing, but it seems you need a belt on your chair.

Sounds good enough for me. Less space in the second Video. Also we don't know if the Sound from first vid is the real amp tone or reworked in the Studio.

Da wurde doch glaub ich schonmal drüber diskutiert, als es darum ging warum man keine Effektpresets über die RE verteilen kann.

Ich glaube hinter war man zu dem Schluß gekommen, dass es am besten wäre für die eingestellten Effekte zum Verteilen das Custom Rig (?) (oder so ähnlich) von Kemper zu nehmen. Damit tritt man niemandem auf die Füße und verteilt nicht aus Versehen gekaufte RIG's.

What i actually do is wet/dry/dry/wet, monitor out and direct out as Mod L and Mod R + Main outs as Delay/Reverb wet L and R. Sounds really great with shimmer or crystal delay far left and right and the stack in the middle. We are monitoring through InEars.

If you are using outboard effects you would need monitor and direct out as FX send and returns. This means you could use the main outs in mono only. One for Git/stack without effects and one for Delay/Reverb wet + effects. I don't know if delay/reverb wet out is available in mono or stereo only?

Other possibility would be to use also SPDIF out, but its digital and you need digital ins at the PA.

If you are using KPA onboard effects you could send maximum six signals to PA, e.g. Git/Stack, DI, Mod L, Mod R, Delay/Reverb wet L and Delay/Reverb wet R.

There are some good youtube vids from Kemper for explanation about possible routings.

Das hört sich zumindest nach ner Feedback-Schleife an. Ich kenne mich mit der Steinberg Software nicht aus, aber bitte mal genau prüfen wie die Signale in der Software und auch in Cubase geroutet sind.

Ich bin kein Fachmann für Wahs. Hatte vorher nie eins und erst mit dem Kemper angefangen damit rumzuspielen. Es gibt irgendwo im private forum einen Thread mit verschiedenen Wah Presets. Vielleicht kannst du dir da ja einige Anregungen raussuchen?
Ansonsten weiterhin viel Spaß mit der Wunderkiste.

Bis auf den fehlenden Editor bin ich eigentlich rundum glücklich mit der Kiste. Fast schon wieder zuviele Möglichkeiten.

Ich denke ich werde nie das volle Potenzial aus dem Kemper rausholen. Wenn ich alleine dran denke was Kemper in den ganzen Jahren verbessert und zusätzlich reingebracht hat. Wahnsinn. Diese Produktpflege kenne ich von keiner anderen Firma. Die anderen großen Firmen reagieren sehr sparsam oder gar nicht auf Kundenwünsche und bringen dann lieber nach 1,5Jahren ein neues Teil raus. Darum ist auch die Frage nach einem KPA2 für mich immer recht unsinnig.

Die Prä-KPA Zeit hat natürlich auch Spaß gemacht, aber so zufrieden wie jetzt war ich eigentlich nie in meiner Zeit als "Musiker".

I'm playing the Line6 Variax trough the Kemper. Very powerfull combination.

Maybe it's the next step for Kemper to Profile different guitars.

Rehearsal is the same situation as live for us. We are using no Amps. Kemper, Helix 11R and Roland TD30 only. All played through MOTU AVB Interfaces. Instruments and vocals are mixed into the MOTU mixer which sends the individual tracks to an all-in-one PC with Studio One for recording and the mix is send to an inear system. This setup is very comfortable. Each musician is able to set his prefered volume, recordings are simple. From outside you will hear the voices only. No problem with neighbours.
For live we don't have any problems with monitor sound. The last open air we send the main out only to the FOH. Quick and easy setup and the crowd said the sound was really good.

Another possibility is a PRS Mark Tremonti which has the 25" scale neck and a PRS tremolo. I like it a lot, but far way out of my range.

What i dislike is the not so comfortable neck body transition. Without the upper horn it is a bit difficulty/different to play the high notes. That combined with a thick neck, a thick body and an impractical neck/body transition.

Or try a Line6 Variax to have the possibility to switch between Tele, Strat, LP and others.

In my opinion: first of all a guitar has to be comfortable to play and for sure the look shall be to my liking.
I think all about sounds can be done afterwards. I've heard sometimes some rock/hardrock were i thought "wow great and full/singing tone, must be a LP", but it was a tele or sometimes a strat. Maybe thats another big voodoo/mistery thing that increases the GAS.

11R should work as an Interface. Due to the size and driver i would prefer a small two channel Interface.

Editor would be really nice, but it's not a must have. Kemper had many great ideas in mind over the last years. If they are working on the next step to perfection i would say Editor should be the last thing to work on.
On the other hand if they would give it to another company to program a nice editor i would surely pay for it if it's worth.

Maybe there are some safety issues with an connected editor about the code, we don't know.

Ich denke InEar Hörer mit Ambience Bohrung wäre für uns auch die beste Wahl. Vorallem, weil wir voll digital unterwegs sind und somit außer dem Gesang gar keinen Bühnenkrach haben.

Ich schrecke noch ein wenig vor den teueren InEars zurück. Wir nutzen immer noch die mitgelieferten Shure SE-215 von der ersten Anlage. Die gefallen mir eigentlich recht gut. Ich hatte auch mal Stagediver SD 3 zum testen da. Super Passform, aber das Aha Erlebnis hatte ich nicht. Vielleicht müssen die sich auch erst ne Weile einspielen, aber dafür das die mal eben das dreifache von den Shure kosten, war es ernüchternd.

Ich denke der größere Schritt wäre unser LD System Mei 1000 gegen eine Shure PSM 900, AKG IVM 4500 oder Sennheiser EW 300 einzutauschen. Mal sehen ob jetzt nach der Namm irgendetwas neues auf dem Markt erscheint.

Stimmt, wenn man einmal Stereo hatte, will man auf keinen Fall zurück zu Mono. Als weitergehende Maßnahme wäre dann der 3d Sound von Klang:technologies. Tolle Geräte, aber stolzer Preis.

Wir haben jetzt mehrere Konzerte hinter uns mit Ambience Mikros vorne links und rechts an der Bühne. Die Lautstärke der Mikros ist so geregelt, dass das Publikum hörbar ist in den ruhigeren Phasen. Wenn wir Gas geben höre ich nur die Musik. Immerhin ist man so nicht ganz abgeschottet. Klappt für uns eigentlich recht gut. Wer mehr will kann ja auch über InEar mit Ambience Bohrung nachdenken.
