This is the Profile of a Bogner Atma (and there's no Kemper Liquid Profiles for it); I profiled it to the description of making a liquid profile from scratch, utilizing the Kemper Generic Setting.

Hello All,
just updated to the new OS and used the liquid profiling feature to capture my Atma amp. I uploaded Channel 3 80's Style on the Rig Exchange (GS Atma 03aa). I'd appreciate any input and comment.
Thank you, G

Hi Guys,
Enjoy this sneak peek of the closing track of my upcoming new album, The Essence of Being. I uploaded the profile used in this video to the rig exchange for a limited time.

Hi,
I am a bit late to the direct profile game. hence my question. I have an old StageLine DIB-100 DI Box. Would that be suitable for making direct profiles? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

thanks! I had totally forgotten about that I profiled and set everything up a long time ago and just never worked on anything like that again. As the saying goes... Use it or Loose it

Thanks for the tipp! stupid question, how did you import the IR files to your KPA?
Thanks!

Posted here a few weeks ago about my KPA switching on by itself and I think it's the switch...i only have to touch it lightly in the off position and the KPA switches on. I also noticed that my chicken head actually has 6 positions instead of 5... anyone has something similar? I am waiting on sending it in as I am in the middle of a production.

Hi,
Not sure if anyone has ever encountered this but today, I switched on my Furman Powerconditioner to start up my KPA Rack and it just started up even tho the switch was off.
I let it start up, and then it kept starting up. I switched the KPA off, then switched off the Furman....did the same thing again, Furman power on...and KPA started up again even tho it was off... I moved the kph switch then while the unit was starting up to Browse and it's stable and not restarting. I never had this before.
Anyone has an idea what is going on?
Thanks!

I've never been able to get used to the tone from nylon or delrin, but I do like the way they play. Way too mellow for me, without anything unique to them like you get with other mellow materials like wood or casein.
Interesting point... to me, the Jazz III were not giving me enough control when playing 7 string guitars and the Ultex 2.0 were way too "scratchy" for my taste. With the Planet Wave's Nylpro (green) I found great control, response and feel. But that's just my opinion; and I do like the more mellow tone I get since I pick a lot and I prefer a darker tone, I still get what I am looking for. But that's an interesting observation you made in regards to the responsiveness and tonal character of the different materials. Thanks for sharing

I used Jazz III and later Ultex 2.0 but for the past 4 years I have been using the Planet Waves Nylpro 1.4 mm Picks. Great sound, durability and reliable production. There's 2 kinds, blue or green. The green ones I am using are a combination of nylon and fiber glass.

yeah, that's pretty funny...i tried to reason with him about his self-important video (I know him from college) but he's just a bit full of himself and a smarta... his internet fame went to his head.
Anyways, his reasoning should be in the toilet now. I am sure, he can misconstrue the new facts again to fit his ideas.Move along, these are not the droids you are looking for...

i took them down 6 months ago for personal reasons. I hope you can respect that.
Thanks, G

while I appreciate you guys liking my profiles, I have taken them down for a reason. If you could deter from sharing these, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

just to chime in here. I am was mentioned in this discussion on FB and I know Henning from back in our days at Berklee college of music. I had brought up the idea of derivative work Nd this is what I posted.
"The KPA's sound comes from the users work of profiling it to taste. Just like what you'd do in a studio. An amp can and will sound in many different ways depending on mic, mic placement, blending of mics, mic pres or consoles, cabs, speakers, cables, room, guitars used etc. you basically get a very specific chain of sound. As you know, this requires skill, knowledge, trial/error and hard work. So, the profile itself generated is an accumulative work of hardware and human skills, practically creating something new. Just like all the different amps did after developing their version of sound. As I said, I have the amps and I created my own profiles which I only use. But I also understand that my profiles are a derivative work."
i think he is trying to raise awareness about the copying and free distribution of amp sounds and he is comparing it to piracy and theft of music through the modern means of sharing communities or streaming services stc. While I can see his point of view, I also think that his logic is not quite consequential. But hey, it's an opinion and we are humans. I also called him out about not having given the KPA a fair shot testing it and really understanding it, as well as giving a judgement without proper knowledge and a recommendation of not getting the kpa on his first video and he did recant his last statement etc...
anyways just my 2 cents -
Thanks everyone. If you are interested in the profile I used on the video, I uploaded it to the Rig Exchange. It's called "Helios Tone 01" by German Schauss
Enjoy and Happy Holidays!
