Thanks for sharing! My bassist doesn't go the the IEM's, how'd you get yours to go with it? ( recently converted my percussionist during a recent recording session, just one to go!)

Excellent guitar sound man. Nice and punchy! Funky tune as well.

It's cool, smooth, laid back.

Very nice vintage tone. That's a warm guitar; what were you playing? I dig the vintage pack myself!

How long of a lag time? I don't notice any meaningful latency when I switch mine.

Is anybody using a Mesa fifty fifty? I've got a chance to get one at a great price and thought it might might be a nice alternative.

JBL PRX612... amazing!!!!

With all the midi FC's out there, why is it so important for Kemper to release their own? What is it that they would do that would be different from everyone else? Just asking...

Man, parallel paths would be fantastic!!! I'm psyched... just hope I don't die before it happens....

HELL-G, I haven't seen a Delay stomp. I've been jones-ing this since I bought the KPA.

I used Guitar Rig 5 Pro in my studio for the past three years. It was effective for enhancing tone but in the end, it just wasn't as accurate, i.e. tone rich as my KPA. The KPA changed everything and opened up a world of possibilities of tone variation. There were some cool things that GR5 did like parallel paths, so you can create two parallel rigs and pair them down to a stereo field. The KPA allows you to blend a direct/clean tone with a distorted/efx tone which kind of gets you there and is very effective.

I play primarily clean tomes, jazz and fusion... I've got a couple of vintage Mesa Boogie 1-12's that are nice and compact, easy to carry and pack a huge punch and cheap. Lately I've been thinking of adding more cabinets to my rig for profiling variety. This week I purchased a Rectifier 4x12 and am looking for a 70's early 80's Marshall 1960. Also thinking of adding a variety of speakers to load for tone variations.
Still, at least for me, the KPA delivers the tone and variations that keep life interesting, so no POD, Line 6 or Digi is gonna meet the level of sound the KPA does. The KPA keeps it real.
With all that said, the last couple of weeks I've been living in the overdrive world.. pretty radical on a KPA, I must say. That 1978 Dumble (though it's not a Dumble as I understand) is just clean and bright and the overdrive is spanking when you add a green stomp. The Recitifiers and Marshalls are inspiring as well.

HAppy New Year!

FCB1010 and Roland switch; that's it. KPA gives me all I need for EFX. I do use a Boomerang III and Side Car sync'd to AKAI MPC 2500 for some occasions, which is external to the KPA, KPA routed to mixer and send returns to the Boomerang.

I use M-Audio MX 5's for general monitoring around the house, back porch and in hotel rooms/travel. I like the sound of them with the Kemper. I use Genelec 8040's in my studio ; Kemper sounds amazing. I also have a pair of JBL PRX612m's that make the Kemper scream.. and I use my in-ear's when I'm tracking most of the time nowadays, though not necessary, I just dig the sound and it's quiet to the outside world.
MX5's are cheap and sound great, easy to transport... buy them used for almost nothing.
