I learned to check and make sure the status light is off anytime I switch presets onstage, just like I do for all the CTL buttons on my FC300. Can be a real PITA.

I read that the parallel path bypasses the amp section so didn't think it work for this. I also turned off any Modulation in the Delay but it still sounds different than the source note to me (needs eq but I can't figure out how). Anyone with a work around for that I'm all ears.

Welcome aboard! You're gonna love the Mission cabs!

Welcome aboard!

Yes it is a bit different to have the same setting in 2 places at once. I set my Global PC that's in the Output section to zero so it won't over-ride my individual rig setting and then set the Pure Cab I want for each rig manually.

Sorry Will I read your post and still had no luck. Just tried it again for the 4th time and it worked with a fresh download? Not sure why but I'm in.

Tried installing 4.2 beta from Rig Mgr but got Update Ignored message twice now. I must be doing something wrong, any help appreciated!

This! Setting my global Pure Cab to zero.

Same here I delete it first, my guess is that it will give you a list of available versions to scroll through like it does with Backups. If someone were injured doing it this way we' have heard about it lol.

+1
I've resorted to using a Micro Pitch and a super tight Legacy Delay for live shows, would be nice to have it sound like it's supposed to and also take up 1 Effects slot instead of 2.

You can get great results with either choice and also eq out any boominess if you go 12". The Kemper has an EQ stomp called "No Boomy E A" I used it with my EV ZLX's, worked well.
If you play live a lot you may want to also look at frfr cabs. I went with 2 Mission Gemini's, their dispersion is wider and more consistent than a typical cab or wedge. They also seem to punch better when we play metal or heavy rock (yes we're in that grey area of subjective opinions lol). With an external power amp in my rack I can also use the house's passive cabs if they're available.

Zakk did alot of reamping I had heard to thicken his sound so you may not get that close. For that type of sound I use Micro Pitch 2 and a tight delay (6ms no feedback) in Stomp slots to help thicken things. I use the pitch detune vs a chorus to get rid of the sweep that can be annoying with alot of gain and fast picking. The mix is low on both, I think around 10% now, you may like them higher.

The Pure Booster's Volume is set at +1.2DB. I called it 12% in my head, math habit from my poker playing days, everything gets turned into a percentage.
-
Crap now I have to plug my Kemper in and look lol. Thanks Ingolf, I thought I was done making mistakes for the day lol.
-
12% never thought of it in DB, I'm strictly a live player. Some of my patches are louder than others so I assumed it was better to think in percentages, plus I like math lol.
-
I use a boost of about 12% but will vary it depending on the venue or whether other musicians are sitting in the same frequencies of the mix that I do (normally only guitar, bass & drums for me). My ears will tell me pretty quick where to go. Slot X is a Pure Booster for all my patches so if I want more or less I just make the change and lock it in for the night.

I'm sure somebody at Kemper said "crap!" and has tried to fix it lol.

Yes mine can send Sysex it's a Roland FC300. The other problem I thought with my unit is that CC#s 96*99 aren't usable. I'll have to look into Sysex though thanks!

I drilled a hole in the blanks that surround my wireless and now get to use the front input.

Seems to be much worse when running audio through it in my experience.
