I did this with my 5150. It works great, a bit like working with something like torpedo. If you can and it feels or sounds ok just do it or at least try. I wont be doing it live (to much gear) but in the studio it is ok. Kemper is close but not 100% accurate and sometimes I am missing frequencies. Not saying this way is the holy grail. Got lazy again and just record through Kemper again with a clean track to have the possibility to reamp later.

and what about a mesa thiele with evm? Someone played on that one?

Really dig this kind of stuff. Great guitarplaying and great tone. But once the real song starts it's over for me musically.
-
i use a ts before going into kemper. Somehow it sound more organic than the kemper drives.
-
Me to. I just use kemper as a recording tool and an editor would be great. Used some great homegrown stuff, but there aint nothing like the real thing.

Clandistine! Recording an album with it as we speak.

Took me a while but perfect. Looks dont matter, it works.
Only thing is that I cant get control A to work. Request would be reverb delay etc in slots also. But so many thanks for this.

I really dont understand why you give a certain option, tell people it is kind off crappy compared to something else on the same device. Why make it that way and not make it equally as good? Its like having a guitar with a neck and bridge pickup and telling people, the neck sounds great, the bridge kinda crappy. But be glad, you can still use both.

Not a problem here. Maybe you can play a bit with clean sense on the input.

This video helped me a lot:

is it possible that someone explains how I show profile in the new situation. Step by step and define inputs and outputs (I have a behringer di100). I did profiling in the past, but am not sure how to do it in the new way.

I have updated and noticed a couple of problems. The minor issue is that the tuner doesn't show what note it is tuning at startup. It works fine when going from a performance back to tuner
I have this too

Couldnt kemper send you the correct led? Thats most easy for all.

Hi guys,
I installed firmware 3.0. I have a diezel vh4 and a koch dummy load/attenuator with di output. So I hooked up the diezel speaker output to the dummy load of the koch. Then direct out -10db (0 db is to loud) into the return input (jack) of the kemper.
Front input of the Kemper>guitar and kemper direct out/send to the input of the diezel.
In profiling mode I hear my amp (tested the koch direct out to my focusrite daw and have heard that typical di sound).Problems:
-I can only use a very low volume on the diezel or it starts to feedback/make a feedback kinda sound
-the profile doesn't come close to the originalI quess I am doing stuff wrong, but what?
There is no cab attached. With the koch it is not necessary.
Goal is to get a back up from the diezel for home and live purpose (Diezel itself for practise) through a real guitar cabinet.
-
Although buggy, if I
-just want to use old profiles
-profile directly from amp (di), so the new possibility
-to play the new profiles through a guitar cabis this release good enough for the time being?
-
This bass profile is my first choice for recording bass Awesome and thanks a lot!

Good song and good production

i do since months, and i did yesterday at rehearsal. Sounds spot on to the real amp imo. Me and my bandmates (with real amps) are blown away
rock and a roll! Cant wait to give it a go. My vh4 in a box with all these effects and possibilities. But still I cant imagine selling the vh though:-)

Anyone allready did a one on one with a seperated amp prodile/original amp and a normal cabinet?
This is what I have been waiting for and am very curious about the results (cant do it myself right now, grmbl)Still missing the delay in the stomp section.
But thumbs up for kemper for giving all the support.
