Display MoreWhen the KFC is released, I think we will know more about how it can be integrated with other gear.
I used to try to plan for every live possible sound change, too. But, it is too easy to get lost in the possibilities.
I don't do that anymore - I have sounds programmed for the songs we play live. One button changes everything.
If you consistently play the same songs, you'll never need to fiddle with a knob again.
This is why I've been satisfied using the M13 to Midi control the KPA via program changes. It mismatches the Banks and Slots, thus takes planning to organize rig placement. But I can get through a slow without any issues.
I recently had to set the intonation for my bass while I was in a bind. I used the on-board KPA tuner. A couple days later, I checked it against a Peterson and was on.
I always get the reaction, "That's a lot of money for a modeler. Why didn't you just get a POD?"

I've had mine since April. No LED issues. I also turned down the brightness as a precaution.

Anyone have the hd500 midi patch that they can send my way? It is no longer provided at the link from the OP.
Love the new Dunlop Volume/Expression pedals!
Prepare to get as much sleep as a new father with a newborn!
All I have to say is wow! Sounds like hipsters but in metalhead form.
Display MoreGC & MF (same owners) are in pretty dire finacial trouble. I've read about it, but can't remember the particulars.
Maybe just liquidating a bit of stock to get some cash, who knows?
UPS managed to run over one of my guitars...

This guitar was $4,655 list, $1,700 sale price
GC stepped up and handled the claim for me and have gone out of their way to make me happy. Thumbs up to their handling of this problem.
My friends that work at the Boise, Idaho store told me last month that they restructured the company and got rid of commission for the sales staff.
+ 1 for the Sennheiser HD-280 PRO.
Awesome videos!
Welcome to the family! I pretty much have the same story as you. Prepare for many sleepless nights!
Welcome!
It wasn't much after that Lucky 13 gig that I left Boise, and sadly haven't seen it since. I still have a handful of friends I stay in touch with that still live there. I hear it's really grown since I've been there.
Cheers!
You've heard correctly. This place has grown and we are barely keeping up with the infrastructure for the growth. We have Los Angeles traffic when our population can't touch that area in terms of population.
My first gig was at Lucky 13 pizza (in Boise)! I wanna guess 26 years ago...
I think very few locals remember when it was located in Hyde Park on the North End. They moved off of Warm Springs Ave about 5 miles from Lucky Peak. I did some IT work for them a few years ago when I was working for Geek Squad.
Hi Rappy, I am new too! and love the KPA.
I am also using the old HD500 as a midi controller. There is a lot about this on the forum and WIKPA. If you have a problem with syncing the LEDs on the HD500 with the KPA stomps, have a look at my recent forum post where I think I've nailed the problem.
Welcome aboard,
Paul
Thanks for the heads up! I had the same problem when I was using the HD500 to control the Voodoo Lab GCX Audio Switcher.
A lot of outsiders pronounce it BOY-ZEE.
