@Zappledan I use it real good and how big it is does count. Dont let her lie to you.lol
@Ingolf I'm sorry to hear that. Nothing can replicate the feel and sound of a full stack!

It would be cool to see a picture of the amp and cab in rig manager.
Awesome profiles!!
I haven't forgotten about having you over, it's just been crazy in good and bad ways. We'll have to get together soon!
I know how it is Pete. I've been working 6 days a week. Tough to make time nowadays. No rush.
That place looks awesome!
Nothing new but maybe it will spark some new pictures.

Awesome!! Your profiles are killer!!
..
I leave cabs on in the output and switch them off using the cab button individually which I rarely do I always leave cabs on and use the studio EQ in the X. This adds the much needed high and low frequencys when using Guitar cabs
On the studio eq I leave low cut at around 150hz and crank the low level as needed sometimes all the way to +12. And turn the high cut frequency down and set the high frequency volume at about +6 and the master volume at 5 or higher or more this gives me the amp in the room sound no problem.
My main profile is Pete Turleys bogner vh4 or any marshall he has some need more Eqing than others.
When I get home from work I will send you my main rigs and some settings. We have different speakers but using that eq will make a world of difference trust me.
I have the powered version (power rack) and use a speaker cable out of kempers speaker output port to 16 ohm 4x12 cab. I leave cabs on for most rigs. And use the built in studio EQ in the X. The studio EQ and rig make all the difference when using Guitar cabs. (In my opinion).
Also I play loud
(volume usually around 6 or higher) and power amp at +6 db. It sounds Huge with the studio EQ set right and the volume turned up.
What profiles are you using or what is your favorite go to so far?
Do you have a kemper power rack/head?
What power amp did you use?
the profile makes a big difference also when using Guitar cab/speakers
STUDIO EQ!!!!
I use a powerrack and 4x12, I leave cabs on for almost all profiles. I use the built in STUDIO EQ it makes a huge difference. Find a good profile to start with then put a studio EQ in the X and adjust as needed. you can use one of the preset eqs also but I like to set my own.
When I turn cabs off using the powerrack straight to my 4x12 I do get the digital sound(fizz) on some profiles. I'm pretty sure you leave cabs on with the power rack/head on most rigs. When I use my mesa road king 2 as a Power amp I turn cabs off. But power rack straight to 4x12 I leave cabs ON.
Try pete Turley or okstrat profiles they sound alive especially when you eq them to your setup. But I get good results with most rigs just have to EQ a little.
Kemper has some great free Di profiles on kemper-amps.com
One day I will get to try an atomic clr but I'm happy with the tones I get using powerrack and 4x12

Use both frfr and 4x12 together. the power rack/head has two separate volumes and two separate eqs. find a profile that sounds good with cabs on and run to both 4x12 and stereo frfr its an experience. It's a personal opinion though. my power rack stands up against my tube amps its really close. it reacts like one if you really crank the volume up it gets roaring with the right eq' ing!
But I like it LOUD!
Ya I leave cabs on for most rigs.
I have a powerrack into a 16 ohm 4x12. Really depends on the rig. Pete Turleys rigs are killer.
Also try using the built in studio EQ in the X. You can make a 4x12 roar with that studio EQ if your cab has good speakers.
I also noticed it really sounds good LOUD. I know it damages hearing but I run my master volume around 7 and the power amp is set to 6 dB boost. I use the guitars volume mostly from there. The right rig and EQ make a huge tone. I have no problem getting the amp in room sound and sounds great in the mix
That's the biggest issue, sorting some great sounds into a logical order...
I add numbers to my favorite rigs like this
01marshall
02ac 30
03engl
25 orange dark terror
That way I can get to them quick. And I set my midi changes to match the rigs number on my hd500x
You might dig my VH4, was built for Slayer and I used a Diezel front loaded cab.
Pete
Those profiles are unbelievable.
Having trouble on android phone
(galaxy s4 kit kat software using Google chrome). When replying I get no options for smileys or to add pictures
I have tried the MORE OPTIONS button and I see the smileys and other stuff for a second but then I only get options like detect links etc
