Really liked the LFO on that. Tempted to mod one of my pedals with an LFO now...

<p>Learned a lot from the Japanese one. Sad that it is the best demo so far...</p>

I was referring to 4 free cables on Amazon, not in video. Sorry for confusion. It is hard to quote previous posts from my phone...
-
Am I right in seeing that the cables were instrument cables, not TRS? Doesn't the pedal need TRS?
I don't need more instrument cables. There's another one on Amazon that's just cheaper. Close to pulling the trigger on that one... Hosa TRS cables on Amazon pretty cheap, but are they good?

I've been using Fender Bassman profiles for both guitar and bass. It's a nice sound.
I keep finding that beneath every gimmicky patch is an awesome stealth amp.
Though I am a fan of the Kemper Banjo...

I once saw John Huldt tap dance...

1) I didn't put the 1KOhm resistor for now and it's working very good (smooth and precise)... why should I put the resistor... what problem can I have without it?
Here's a good explanation:
"But what happens if the potentiometer fails for some reason (age, poor quality, dirty, etc.)? If the wiper (which is the rotating part of the component and probably most prone to failure) shorts out, it will let the full amount of signal through. By attaching a resistor, we are building in a “fail-safe.” This ensures that the circuit is never completely open—there will always be some resistive path in case the wiper goes south."

Last night I traveled out for the first time with the toaster. I used a duffle bag for now. With it over my shoulder I was able to carry 2 guitars and have everything I need. It was nice to carry everything in one trip. It was a little awkward up the stairs in the house. My wife says, "You know you can make 2 trips?" And I'm like "But I *can* make it in one!"

I know it won't fit in the pocket, but how about on top of KPA?
-
I have Excel able to send CC and NRPN messages. Next I'm working on receiving messages back from the KPA. It's pretty cool on a Surface Pro 3 touchscreen! Great for studio/home use. Stack all the commands you want and click a button.

I bought a VG-99 back in the day. Very expensive for me at the time but useless without an FC-300, which was even more cost. I kept debating on that or FCB and ended up with neither and VG-99 collecting dust. Not going to do that again...
I could get an FCB but I've never been happy with its quality, or chip modding, or pedal adjustments, or programming.
Other MIDI controllers fix a lot of this, but are more expensive than KR for a guy who has no other MIDI gear.
Ordered my Remote.

Anyone with a Namba bag measure to see if a remote will fit? I asked the question on the store with no response yet.

No looper without Kemper Remote. In another thread, G String says they feel dedicated hardware is needed to make looper useful. He gave examples of holding down buttons, LED and display feedback, which wouldn't be possible with most MIDI controllers.

here's some info for you on the four pedal input on Remote: pedals and switches can be used with those input. and with the help of a splitter cable, two switches can be connected to one input. In other words, Remote itself can be connected to 8(!) additional switches if required. The assignment works on the pedal/switch inputs on Profiler: in a global fashion.
Those four build in buttons can be programmed individually for every rig in a performance. One button can change the state of multiple effects at the same time. This way you can switch entire "scenes" if required or just toggle a single effect on and off, depending on your requirements.
The Quick Start Guide for Profiler Remote can be downloaded here: http://www.kemperamps.com/api/download/dlid/597/

So where I'm playing we only have a mono signal to FOH. Is there a way to change my headphones to mono through the Kemper so I'm hearing what they'll be hearing? The stereo effects sound great to me but I'm the only one hearing them.
-
The I-IIII buttons switch effects on and off. They each have four leds: two colored and two white. The colored leds indicate to which effects that button is assigned (using the same color code as on the Kemper itself), while the white leds indicate the current on/off state for each of those two effects (you can assign more but only two will be represented by these leds).
Finally makes sense. Thanks!

I myself am intrigued by the Kemper beer bottles in the background...
I thought you were joking. There really are Kemper beer bottles back there!
I'll buy a Kemper Remote if it comes with a 6-pack of Kemper beer! Otherwise I'm wondering if I'm in for $600 more...

Is there a Kemper cab coming too? I don't think I've ever seen one...
