They say they have bought the un-powered toaster knowing, that there is an upgrade available for it, once they might decide to use their KPA in rehearsals or live.
That's me exactly! Hope you're still selling when I hit that point...

So... Next step; profiling sandwiches? Sounds like a winner to me!
Perfect if you want to... jam.
About 19 x 42 cm or 7.5 x 16.5 inch for the bigger one.
About 19 x 35 cm or 7.5 x 13,8 inch for the smaller one.
Looks like 19 x 42 it is...
Width = 41.5cm
Height = 7.5cm
For those metrically challenged (like me):
Estimated Height: 7,5 cm (2.95 inches)
Estimated Width: 41,5 cm (16.34 inches)
Depth: ???
For reference:
Profiler Head and PowerHead
Height: 21,7 cm (8.54 inches)
Width: 37,8 cm (14.88 inches)
Depth: 17.3 cm (6.81 inches)
Namba bag is:
44 x 25 x 27 cm (17.32 x 9.84 x 10.63 inches)
Any more info on the low frequency compensation or other features of the new firmware?
When you download the firmware zip file, it includes a PDF file that lists what's changed.
Can you flip back and forth between the snapshot and the original somehow?
I play in a Simple mind tribute and in another band playing from Marillion to Police, via Toto and other '80s ...
Wow... Marillion. Had a buddy in high school who got me into them. Not very big in the states. Funny to think there's a band playing their songs in Italy!
I get that buzz sometimes when there is a computer plugged in on the same electrical circuit. It doesn't have to be the same outlet. I usually just shut down the computer or unplug the laptop temporarily.
Kemper came today during lunch and played until the sun went down! It takes a loooong time to go through hundreds of rigs!
I started tweaking one and wanted to compare it to the original. What's the easiest way to do this? There's a couple ways I could see to do this, but wondering if there's a really simple way I haven't figured out yet.
Nevermind... link works now!
The "MIDI Parameter Documentation (Rev. 103)" link doesn't work on this page:

Anyone know where I can find a copy? My new KPA should arrive tomorrow. I'm trying to keep busy with some MIDI programming in the mean time...
Was it brand new?
Sold by Sam Ash store in Tampa:
"This item was used and tested by experts in a product training session and then immediately re-sealed in it's original packaging w/manuals and all factory included accessories. This item is guaranteed to be in "as new" condition and have no cosmetic imperfections."
Unless you're using it in a term like, "I'm done with your sh*t. Now 'Git." Or "I got to git mo (Gitmo)"
That's the one I know. Git/stack, not so much...
What does "git" mean? I've not seen that term before...
Just bought a Kemper from Reverb.com! Ready to get in line for the KFC...
I'm using a Digitech iPB-10 now. Great product that was utterly abandoned by Digitech. Part of what sells the KPA for me is version 2.8+ firmware. That's a company that supports its gear!
I wish they had a cheaper version that didn't have the profiling capability. I'm only going to play stock or purchased models. Used prices will help.
Not looking forward to not having a computer interface to my library. If you want to tag rigs with a song name, is there a good way to do this?
I'm shopping for a KPA lunchbox. Is there any difference between an old used model and a new one? I get there are 2 colors and 2 models (powered, and un-powered). I'm not interested in the rack versions. I assume that I will likely need to update firmware on anything I buy.
Thanks for any comments/suggestions. I've been on the fence for a while about getting one. I don't like the idea of getting gear more expensive than my guitar, but used prices will fix that. I also need a pedalboard to control it. I'm not really excited about the FCB1010, but the accidentally released KFC manual has me drooling and ready to pull the trigger.
