@Zapman: I guess they are using a conventional PA nowadays.
Wow, you would think the lights in the city would go dim when all that got fired up!!

That is insane!! Tickets are on sale for Chicago / July 4th weekend.. Prices are off the charts!
Update:
Got the AKG Q701's (used) and they came with FiiO e11 headphone amp. Light, comfortable, and sound really good.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,280's...701's
Impedance 64ohms 62ohms
Max. Input 500mW 200mW
The 280's definitely sound louder when switching between the two, don't know why it would take more juice to drive the 701's or if the open ear style makes them sound not as loud. Another thing to note is that I can crank the volume on my M-Audio Fast Track Ultra to max with Kemper feeding it by SPDIF (SPDIF volume maxed) and it, IMHO, sure could be a lot louder. Haven't messed with the headphone amp much yet, might need it.
Here's my board...didn't get a chance to take a pic of the kemper with my 212 or 412. There were windows behind us that were very bright!
Glad you finally got your KPR skyhighrocks! How you liking it so far? Looks good with that setup...
Woo! Been using Preview with the manager thing great fun! Lost a couple of hours last night just going through them one by one, and there's thousands of them!
I wonder if there's a huge difference between the bought profiles and the free ones?
Haha, the old loss of sleep trying rigs. Rigs are kinda like cars or women in that when they go by you immediately know whether it's appealing to you, then you can always dress it up or down a little to make it just right for you personally, ex. mag wheels or fancy dress, blacked out paint job or blue jeans
Hope that makes some sense, maybe it's just early for me........
@onosnd looks cool!! The Atomic reminds me of up periscope for some reason except for ears not eyes
@CPHfx, man I totally didn't see in the first thread I was replying to that your Kemper was crashing when you tried to save a rig. I have never seen that before but I haven't done to much with mine after upgrading to 3.0 either. Some things still remain after a factory reset, your rigs for example, not sure what other settings are retained. I have two DVP3's but I'm not using the volume when wah not active thing. No problems here, that's why I suggested just trying volume with it to start. And definitely make some adjustments on a rig then try to save it under another name and see what happens.
Actually, the volume pedal works independently from the master volume and all other output volumes (Reference Manual p. 33), so linking or unlinking shouldn't make a difference, I think...
@CPHfx, how are you connecting your pedal?
You may be right, I'm at work also. One thing to try for sure is isolate it by not using wah for now. Just hook up and only have the pedal work the volume. You also should calibrate the pedal using "Init".
Not sure...
I'm at work right now, no Kemper close... This would probably be in the output menu?
That's correct, just a check mark to link it to your master volume
Do you have your Headphone volume linked to the Master Volume?
Cheers guys, just updated to the latest firmware. Now if I could only work out how to add a load of the free amp profiles! Thought I'd get away with not burying my head in the manual, but I guess not with something like this
Load up Rig Manager which will sync with all the free profiles. If you have Windows operating system just double click on one to load it in the Kemper (Temporarily, you have to save on the Kemper if you want to keep it there).
@krikke, very nice!! Light yet packs a powerful punch
There is another way to start with the KPA:
Turn on KPA to browse, plug in guitar, plug in headphones and begin to play: Look things up as questions arise. Very easy to get started making good tones with this Tone Monster!!!
Welcome! Searching the forums for questions you may will get you a long way also... Won't be able to get into the Private section of the forum until you register your new toaster..
Thank you kind Sir..... Much appreciated!!! Have a great day yourself since you made ours!
Some forums that takes escalated privileges to open a poll, not sure about here though.
One of these to each of you. Congrats Kempafun and Raoul23 on the collaboration!!! Sounds very very good!
Welcome Sir, glad your enjoying the KPA!!! Awesome piece of equipment for sure....
