It does not appear in your Cabinet Presets?
There IS a perfect sub-forum for your "where is the imported Cab?" question:
Home from holliday.... looking into it.

I think It is doable and practical + 1
Maybe go further - when you in tuner mode - the KPA may display tune (bulb) on the upper row of the FX and Stack buttons (bigger then the display and the buttons are symmetrical)
( in tuner mode- the four Stack buttons in the middle could be the center of the tuning note) .
My old Roland GX700 had the led knobs double as tuner display. I could tune easily from 5 meters afar so i would WELCOME this x1000!
Isn't there an IR converter in the downloads section?
There is. But making the IR, deconvolving it etc etc is a combersombe process which you need to do in a computer with a soundcard etc etc. Could be SO much easier.
I would like a tuner that possible to see from more than 2 meters afar. The lines that the "drop" must be inside if a string is in t une are just too thin for viewing across a a stage. A simple korg rack tuner-ish display would much better.
+1 the lack of midi cc mapping is baffling. I used to use an old GX700 for delays reverbs etc and on each patch you could map any parameter to any control change so in one patch/rig a switch/expression could control one thing and in another patch/rig something else.
Rant: The "why would you want to do that" replys are really annoying, sorry. They are not helpful and non of us has setups that are similar. Some of us has different outboard connections, use their amps in many different situations, with different bands, as substitutes in even more bands, session work in different studios etc etc etc.....
Actually i found out how. Apple has a program called Impulse Response Utility. A little "convoluted" to use but after a couple of tries i succeeded. Now the strange thing is that when i imported it (via Cab Maker) to the Kemper it didn't show up anywhere despite the Kemper reporting a succesful import.
Question for the moderators: Is it ok if i open this topic in the Gear forum instead?
Asking because some forums allow this and others don't and i don't want to make an ass of myself
Just for the Kemper.
I have a cabinet simulator box that sounds fantastic on certain sounds. It was costum built for me by T-rex when they were a small company (i know the founders, so they did some nice things for me back then).
so i would like to know how to make an IR of that box. Step by step.
questions include:
Is it starter pistol or sine sweep method?
do i need to deconvolve or can i take the raw resulting wave file into the cab maker software.
Does anybody have the right soundfile to run through the box (be it sine sweep or starterpistol or whatever is needed)
Please no "why do you want to do that" replies.
I find it kinda strange that we can profile whole rigs, direct amps but not cabinets in the Kemper. Creating cab impulse responses is a real hastle (indeed i have not worked out how to do it right yet). You have to do it on a computer, then import them via usb stick etc etc.... The Kemper really should include this function.
I would very much like this implemented in the output section eq as well.
Ahhhh that makes sense. Thanks
Hi everybody. New here. I noticed in the David Gimour sound video (in the videos section) that the vintage chorus in the post section has a stereo parameter. But when i open a vintage chorus in the post section that parameter is not there. Why is that?
