Must agree that of the many things really good about the Kemper, the wah is very tasty.

So you didn't return it within the time-period GearJocke?
FYI- When I decide to buy this Ibanez guitar (or anything else) I will order it from my friends at Sweetwater.
Sweetwater has always taken care of me well, have a very "time-frame" generous return policy, and If I am dissatisfied and have to return it it's not a problem.
For over 20 years they have always taken care of my musical needs on a professional level, with no issues.
Sounds like a sales pitch but its not- If you don't order from them, your really missing out.Quote from sambroxTry before you buy. I thought this too, until I tried a couple (admittedly, two of the cheaper Premium models).
Nice Charvel btw-! Yes I've read where some players who know both well, could tell the difference in "feel" between the two pretty quick.

Well, for me I can see why too. That HSS just "may" be my next guitar this Christmas!

I have had the Axe FX II. Ive not had (or heard) the Axe FX III, so I can't comment except to say that those who own them, really seem to like them. Fractal Audio has also done well by their editor, as has Line-6 for Helix. Helix sounds great too(I own one). The KPA does have a real nice editor that works very well and is actively updated, but its 3rd party (just wanted to point that out). Tone wise (to me), the Kemper is just amazing! Ive played for a while (48 years) so I know what I'm saying tone wise for "my needs" and I play blues/rock/alt music. Best option is to own all three - but if you get a KPA my flat statement is (here goes nothing), you won't be disappointed in the tone dept. Best of luck and I hope this helps a bit in deciding.

ditto- I would like to know as well if you have the time.

I keep it off now but that's not set in stone. When I get more time to analyze, I.E. a better understanding (from my ears) of what it does and does not do, that may change. And since its a "per rig" setting we have the best of options available to us to use or not.

Thanks for the heads up!

I have about 40 favorites in my KPA. The reason I don't have more is because most of them sound so good (to me) I play for hours and barely switch thru them all lol.

Quote from michaelwendt
but I haven't seen people use it with a stereo system. Is there a reason?
Yes there is. You want your speakers to be flat sound wise and most home stereo speakers are anything but flat response full range (FRFR) speakers. Most home stereo speakers will enhance the bass response for example. The reasons why you dont want this is because when you use a "profile" that includes the speaker cab (and mic) it was made with you want that "profile" to sound correct thru your cabinet (FRFR), and you can not do this when also running the profiles sound thru "colored" sounding speakers. Next you want a class D power amp to power these FRFR speakers. You may ask, what about all those using a "guitar cabs" people use? Well, they have a power-amp running a "colored" (sound-wise) speaker/cab that they enjoy listening to, but every guitar cabinet made is "also" colored sound wise to a certain extent more or less, and not flat. So you have options versus using FRFR powered speakers, it just depends on what you wish to do. Hope that helps.

Your Alto Ts12 most likely has preamp signal inputs so don't hook an amps output to that.

I think I had one similar but the one I owned had a 15" speaker. Still great guitar tones played at the time thru a GSP2101
