What is the opinion of more experienced KPA-specialist to use a UPS as shown below.
In case of power fault during performance, is time enough to make a controlled shut down of the KPA?

Might be me, but I sense a bit of scare coming out from the rant at the end - any "beginner" can get a pro level sound at home now... (no need for "years" of learning how to place a mic, years, really?)
I agree with that, but in fact I' not scared.
There will be a change at music market and necessity of some skills.
This happened in any environment, where a technological development takes place.
I think even in the future on the long run only those have success, that works hard for it.
Some Hypes will flooding the market for some time and disappear. This happen all the time.
Honestly, who can still take paper and pencil and calculate square roots or potencies without a calculator?
I had to learn this almost 50 years ago, but forgotten 40 years ago.

the small MA120 mk II sounded almost exactly the same as the 3 times more expensive Proel WD. Both
I decided not to use expensive high quality monitoring.
In the band live situation I heard hardly a difference between my Behringer B210 to the Mackie SRM 450 V3 of my colleague, I once have tried.
And I save important 8 Kg.

As long it is just in the 'Commercial rigs and profiles' sub forum I can understand it as a kind of advertising.
Something unpleasant but acceptable.
In other forums, I would welcome the inclusion of this item in the netiquette.
stay tuned - Harry

I made the test on two different days and have read the Result at the second day.
The first day I made 2 correct guesses.
The second day also - but not the same
In fact, I was not sure in any sound. There were rather a fluke.

안녕하세요 and welcome in Kemperland !
I own an old Behringer V-Amp-Pro (kind of a Pod pro). I'm not an pro, so it's good enough to replace the Kemper in case of desaster.
I hopefully never have to....
I have a Vox Tonelab (and a second E-Guit) with me in case of desaster.
I have same hope - Harry
Thanks Harry, that's exactly what I want to achieve.
Well this music sounds as emotional as some time your postings
But its also a matter of skill and experience, which is not need to show in every moment.
Will try to find more of your music - Harry
Sometimes "butchering" turns out to be something great! (be sure to watch the video)
could it be a "stoned guitar´"
But he is one of my heros!
I thought halloween is over?
Wie sieht das dann mit Kemper aus? Bitte ein Bild - Danke.

Really awesome.
I love this relaxed songs which does not at first seems impressively but are able to produce a pleasant mood.
Playing fast is more a matter of training. But it's art to generate feeling.
well done - Harry

Of course it's important that the classical world will come to a paradigm shift and gladly many young musicians are changing that right now.
Yes, a paradigm shift is really necessary. I fear that it will take time at least still one generation of musicians.

At last I was able to listen today Berts profiles, that I have acquired 20 days ago. There were 20 bad days, missing the KPA.
Good things come to those who wait.
Now really I have a luxury problem.
Which Profiles should I select for my live performances. Most are useful for me and all are miraculous.
Also I have acquired from sheer frustration also very good Profiles of TAF, Soundside, MBritt and a vintage package.
My plan was and is for each band I am playing just to use 2 performances at maximum.
Do not send me any suggestions, I have to make it alone, but simply give consolation.
Cheers - Harry

Ciao Harry
There's also a difference between classical players and f.e. jazz- and rock-musicians. Most classical players can't play if you'd take away their notes and many of them cannot compose or improvise.
If you quote classical musicians that they can not play without sheet music, so that's not to generalize. I know many who can think outside the box and on the highest level.
However, they are taking a risk, because it is not very much appreciated in these circles (rather stupidly, in my opinion).
It is really true, however, that classical education and this business these skills more prevents than promote.
I see some change in the traditional educational system.
There are not more so much frustrated musicians which didn't get a job in the music business.
At least in my environment there are dedicated teachers who let improvise, show the children hits and want to convey more the joy of music.
(Almost half of our big band are music teacher)
But also they complain that there are more hostility from colleagues as support.
But at least it seems to come to a paradigm shift.
