Do you have an open lead plug into one of the pedal/footswitch sockets? This will cause the Kemper to 'hunt' for a pot/switch value.

Give it a try, you won't break anything!

why not chain them all in the send/return?

(Also missing the "Cancel" from adding a new message, I guess you have to back out of the page in the browser now.)

too much TV
I tolerate TV for the sake of household harmony (and the cycling grand tours!). Of course, the alternative is multiple monitors in my studio. At least there I get to chose the programmes!
-
mine is greenish, but because I use f.lux
Just installed it ... thanks for that skoczy! Do you have a cure for square eyes?

Can't log in on the iPhone - only the language select is linked. - Now fixed, thank you!
I'm not wild about the WHITE
No doubt someone will be along to tell us what the improvements are

I regularly use a 25W Greenback (also 16 Ohms) in a Vox Night Train Open back with good results. You can really work the speaker - Just use your common sense!

I think it is mostly down to Varispeed rather than any mechanical discrepancies. Tweaking the tempo to sit it 'in the pocket' (very likely with Steely Dan) as well as fixing dodgy tuning etc.

Very nice, well played!

Hey Greg do you profile the AER 60
There are some good profiles on the Rig Exchange. Make sure you search "AER 60" as "AER" will find a lot of other stuff too!

It depends where you turn your cab off. If you turn it off in the stack, then there is no Cab anywhere which is fine for your stage cab but not so good for FOH.
I'd be inclined to send the main out(s) to FOH with the cab on and use the monitor out for your stage setup, turning off the cab off in the (monitor) output section. -
@paults is correct. I use this when I don't have my stage board with me (studio) and when the kpa is within reach (obvs!)

Me, too
... and me

On the subject of cables (see pic):
Both cables are home made with decent jacks (Neutrik)
The lower one is hi-fallutin' oxygen-free copper bought from a fancy audiophile store (expensive) (and a bugger to fit in the jack plug!)
The top one is a twin core (round) 6 amp flex from a DIY store (not expensive)
They both sound good - end of!
ie It doesn't have to be expensive!

I'm using Vox Night Train cabs (similar to yours) one with a Greenback 25W and the other with an EVM12L (not at the same time) I find that I have to roll off a little of the treble and presence for a good sound so your 'woolliness' is probably down to:
The speaker (not the cab) - can you try a different speaker (even hook into one in the back of a combo)?
The cable: as @CJGOMEZ has mentioned, are you using a speaker cable or a guitar cable? The latter will work (just) but will sound like crap!
I once had a professional (ha!) sound crew remote my speaker cab with around 30ft (10 ish metre) of microphone cable and wonder why it sounded awful!
For a speaker cable you can use 6 amp twin core mains flex which works fineIf your guitar is too powerful (the input led will flash red so, for the purposes of testing, just back the volume off a little (around 6) and listen for a tone shift
(I have a large range of different instruments that all work well with the KPA without faffing with any settings)KPA power amp has plenty of power so tread lightly when testing. Don't use the boost in the house!
just a few thoughts ...

Device manger seeing the 2x2 is a start but doesn't mean there isn't a problem.
Assuming it was working previously then I can only suggest reloading the driver software.
If you have a midi keyboard, try hooking it up to the 2x2 and seeing if the DAW registers midi notes coming in
similarly try sending midi notes to a sound module
-
Toast Me no longer sees my Midisport 2x2 for some reason. I see it fine in Device Manager and in my DAW, any ideas?
Have you accidentally tripped the USB/MIDI THRU button on the Midisport, by any chance?

Unpowered rack in studio and a power head for 'away gigs'
The rack was in a theatre installation but went into my studio when that finished.
Dilemma: Another show has just come in - Do I mess my studio up or .... See where this is going?
One thing: It's best to keep both (all) of your machine in sync. Last week, I turned up at another studio (with head) and reached for a certain profile only to remember it was in the rack, at home!
Not a 'power trip' - its my job. I just happen to love it!
