At practice tonight (first time since updating to Rig Manager 3.0.100 and OS 7.1.19 yesterday ), I switched patches during a song and my Kemper screen (toaster) showed “crunch” , and all effects were off, Input and output lights would not light either. I switched banks and tried multiple patches all said crunch with no effects. I also switched to browser, but nothing changed.
The strange part was that my rig sounds did switch, sort of, they sounded like the normal patch, but not right, they were louder, had more bass and distortion, less chime. They sounded bad.
I ended up rebooting and it restarted showing crunch in the performance that started again, but this time when I changed banks and selected a new patch all went back to normal. Everything was fine for the rest of practice (2 more hours).
No gigs in the near future, so not the end of the world, for now...
Using a FCB1010 with uno4kemper. Not connected to a computer.

***(sarcasm alert)***
Maybe Kemper should release a Pro Profiler. This profiler would be exactly the same as the normal one but be made specifically to allow others to make money off of kemper's (and amp manufacture's) design. It would cost 10x more than the regular one. Oh, even better, the Kemper ilok. Sorry, you're not online at the moment, you can't use that profile.
***(sarcasm alert off)***
In all seriousness, Kemper did not make a product for you to make money selling profiles. That ended up being a by product of their work. You can make money selling profiles (and some have made A LOT of money), but you have the same risk as selling your own music any where, some people MAY copy and trade them.
The real question is a profile really yours to copyright? This has already been argued on these forums though and I'm too lazy to use search and find the post for you though.

Now this was a great editor!
For everyone saying just give me something, watch what you wish for, you just might get it!!!
I'll wait for a properly functioning editor thank you.

I heard it's done, they're just setting up the online store so they can charge you for downloading it!

Nice, what stock profiles are you using on those? Sounds like your getting the hang of it pretty quick.

Can we start talking politics in this thread? I think it's covered about everything else already, and will be about as productive.

Thanks, but there is ZERO chance I'm loading my DD214 on to some site that links to "survey.zohopublic.com". A DD214 contains everything about your you including SSN. They need to link up with VetVerify.org if they want to do it right.

Thanks, had a quick look but couldn't seem to find it. will delve a little deeper later on!
Read the first 3 posts below. (thanks again to Monkey_Man and everyone involved in this one)

Tone Junkie TV on YouTube has some great videos for tips and tricks. Click on playlists (or click here :Tone junkie tips and tricks full playlist). Good stuff there.

Check your spam folder in your email. Kemper emails get eaten by spam filters a lot.

I finally used mine with the band last night at practice and it worked really great. It was less sterile sounding to me than my EV, the highs weren't as present, but I was able to EQ or switch profiles to fit my needs when I needed more highs. I was also surprise with the amount of bass I could get out of it (not that I needed it). I had the volume halfway up, and it was plenty loud for practice (monitor output at -13.6, rig volume at 12 o'clock). It was so easy to carry too. FWIW, I play blues/rock rhythm so YMMV. It held it's own with the lead players Marshall 2550 and his 4x10 cab and the drummer (granted, we weren't playing super loud, but loud enough). They were able to hear me no problem (we only PA vocals at practice).
I bought it from Guitar center so I could return it easily if needed, but it looks like I'll be holding on to it now.

...you would think that with color pix coming back from Pluto, we would be able to transpose a guitar without lag, but,,, not yet,
They may be getting pictures, but there is a tremendous amount of lag for them to get here (42 minutes)! So, the transpose lag really isn't so bad in this context.

Also turn off any audio processing on your TV (or stereo if going through one), just choose direct or the equivalent. Any of those sound modes just add more latency as they "enhance" the signal.

Ugh, I hate you guys.
I just picked up a 108 at Guitar center for $199. I played around with it for about an hour this afternoon and it sounded good (by itself), I normally use HS8 monitors at home. I'll see how it sounds in a band setting (practice) next weekend. I've been using a EV ZLX-12p for a couple years, but we had a weak bass player and I liked the added bass with the zlx. We got a better bass player now and while I loved the compression driver of the EV for cleans and surf tones, I could never get it to sit right in the mix for consistently.
If this doesn't work, I'll return it (guitar center has a 45 day return policy) and try the Yamaha DXR10, or a Mbritt cab, or whatever I can get my hands on.

I can't wait to get one of the many "refurb" units when they are ready! I'm not scared.
