Thanks !!! From This Pignose to another for sharing Its THE Pignose sound as I know it NICE work/profiles ( I like the fact that they are darker sounding - easy to adjust with definition dialing up)

Jonathan I can't stop playing this pack GREAT work guys Its my nr 1 pack right now- in my heavily competitive profile collection....and I have looooots of them
-
YESSSS... Guys take my money !!!
-
My experiene with the IRT-X is that it does handle all gain stages very well ..
I only use it at home therefore can't tell how it stands up in a band situation. Its just a little less open sounding than my JBL-305 monitors. ( can go very loud though)
-
I own the Laney IRT -X (together with 2 JBL's for home use) I am curious too - Hope you'll let us know Sam
-
JBL 305 is what I have - Great sound for a great price !!! I once went for an upgrade , but after A/B comparisson with another brand Kept my money and my JBL's -

Hi Squarehead,
When I discovered how to tweak and change cabs even with regular profiles this made a HUGE difference in my TJ profiles I rediscovered and appreciate them now - while at first I was disappointed too . Their AC/DC , Hendrix, Bonamassa , Trainwreck , Marshalls
I use them all the time and find them SPOT ON ! (it took some Kemper tweak knowhow - never use them "as is" but within a few tweaks IT is all there using a Strat with ML pups and JBL monitors) We all have different ears and gear though
-
My commercial fav's for those kind of sounds are Tone Junkie, M Britt, Top Jimmy (Marshalls) You should try their free stuff first !!! They are all good - matter of preference !! ( english is not my native language either )
-
Crunch for what music style ?? I'm into lo / medium gain sounds . Someone who is into heavier styles- what they would call crunch is what I would call- Heavy beefie crunch ( chugga)
Do you like Marshall / DR Z / Fender/ Mesa boogie ? They all have crunch in their own different way . ( With the Kemper you can have em all )
-
I have a stomp version - For tightening up the sound , more articulation especially when the sound is muddy This pedal is a JEM . You have to know how to use it- to not over do it. Metalheads will Love it but it has plenty of uses . I will switch and trade drive
pedals but I will always keep my BBE
-
Polytune clip on - very reliable and fast tracking
-
In the end its your own ears that you ALWAYS should listen to High is defenetely the better sounding one
-
This is a VERY BUONA BONA pack !!! Well done couldn't resist
Thanks Jimi

I have bought many Z profiles - play only low/medium gain. From what I hear, since you like Choptones, I recommend you try Tone junkie. Those are the only Z's I've kept in my toaster

Hi Ras,
I had to buy all cables seperate.! As Jason said Lots of options - you're stepping in a whole new world/game . 10 people 10 opinions/tastes Do your own testing in the store before buying - take another guitarplayer with you so you can focus on listening to the sound
instead of playing! (2 speakers = 2 kabels and there are Lots of positive opinions/reviews on the Yamaha DX10)
Cheers

Hi,
You have to get speaker cables !! I have short ones since the speakers are close to my (powered) Kemper. Glad I can help! , enjoy the experience - 1 more tip before going all out on buying profiles check all the Free packs from the many vendors . My favs
for low/medium gain are M. Britt / Tone junkie/ Bert Meulendijk. But thats "MY" personal taste playing with a strat. This will save you a lot of $ Each vendor has HIS sound/style/ way of doing things which affects the sound a Lot
Cheers and welcome to the club
(floor pedal is expensive but VERY handy to have)

Hi,
I have 2 JBL speakers - which are FRFR. Whenever I want more I add an Laney IRT X studio monitor Which has a few settings ( 1x12, 4x12, frfr) A real WALL of sound ,but because I want to go easy on my ears usually its only the 2 JBLS.
I play mostly low/medium gain - no real heavy metal stuff - Classic rock Zepp/Lizzy/AC DC/ Hendrix is what i like. ( you should buy 2 not one speakers - to get the full experience ! )
-
JBL305 will do - That's what I have playing low volume most of the time - Lots of options though - Depends how much money you want to spend- JBL is fairly cheap but REAL good sounding ( I A/B it with in the store with other speakers more than double the price
but choose the JBL's anyway) If you can - go to a store where you can A/B a few ! Your ears will tell you which ones to buy
-
Nobody ever mentions the Top Jimmy J.Hendriks pack but I realy like that one !!! (sounds just as the AC DC pack - like the recordings ! )
