RIght... uhm, I do realize now that since I already soldered the connectors I have to resolder them again because this thing need to be underneath the chassis part right?

Thats the one i took.
You can take every one from your list. Everything will work. The last one is a bit special, because you need a special tool to put the wires into the contacts. Maybe i would go to the nearest electrician and have a cable put into the contacts so i have a plug less in the setup.
Take one of the other on your list and you have the option to add a power injector for cable lenght up to 100m (or whatever is supported)
Thanks for your reply.
Do you have a link to the item you used for covering your connectors (the covers that are label, seems very handy to me). -
I'm almost done now (see picture below) . Only the XLR's and the RJ45 nee to be done. Now for the last one need some advice.
I want to have a Neutrik RJ45 chassis connector on the panel so the remote can connect to that instead of the Kemper.
I do have a few options but I don't know which one to take.
I want to make sure I'm ordering the right one and I need to be sure there is enough signal left for the remote to operate properly.
I found quite a few on Thomann's some have small circuitboards attached and other ones don't.https://www.thomann.de/nl/neut…rik+rj45+chassis_183250_4

Who has already built this and can give some advice?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your reply.
I played with morphing and that will do the delay-mix thing
However, I couldn't manage to switch the EQ's with morphing. This means I need to push two swithces (1xeffect button for EQs and 1x morph).
Is there a way to get it in 1 switch?
-
Hi,
I've set one effect button on the remote to switch between 2 EQ's in slow MOD and X but I want to add a third for delay.
However, I don't want to switch delay on or off but I want to swittch between two mix values for delay so that effect button switchs as follows:Engaged: EQ1=off, EQ2=on, DELAYMIX=percentage1
Disengaged EQ1=on, EQ2=off, DELAYMIX=percentage2So, I managed alternating switching between EQ1 and EQ2 but I don't know how to switch between two mix values for the delay.
Anybody knows how to achieve this?
Thanks in advance.

Anyone how to do this with Safari on an iPhone?
On my phone there is no way to load the desktop view and in the mobile interface, this icon is not available.
The problem is once I read a topic on the phone, it's hard to find it back later when on a PC since the topic won't show up anymore in the unread articles list. Very annoying... -
Not sure whether it has been brought up before but I'd like to submit a suggestion:
At this moment you can only bulk import from USB (welll as far as I know), it would be nice to be able to browse the profiles on USB for previewing to try out or select which ones to import.
Would that be possible and if yes, who else would be interested in this? -
Tried it out- but the cabmaker doesn´t transform the IRs into a kemper usable data:I open CABmaker, klick a IR- data and open the folder it should be saved to...an then I´m told:
"1 file cannot be imported. 44.1kHz sampling rate with either 16 or 24 bits are required."Where I my mistake/ what do I have to do to get this thing working?
Did you find a solution to this error? I'm running into the same issue...
-
Sounds awesome!
What really made the difference? The IR's or the profiles? -
Same problem here with ordering, PM sent.

About the amps application (rather rock than metal) I understand that, but the underying question is, would it be thinkfull that profiles of the same amp model would sound different when they were made by someone who is looking for instance for a metal tone than someone who is looking for let's say a country tone?
I can imagine that depening on the personal taste for the person who makes the profile, the profiles would sound different. -
Maybe a strange question, but can these profiles be used for Metal tones?
In fact the underlying question is, would a profile of the same amp be different between or let's say sound different depending on the type of musician/engineer who made the profiles? I mean a metal guitarist/engineer would look for a different tone opposed to a country guitarist/engineer.
I hope my question is clear.
I was just wondering..... -
Hi,
In the video below I'm playing guitar (EMG 81-7) using an ebow.
I can't recall the exact channelsetting in my DAW but I believe it's just a distortion with some EQ.
This really sounds like a Cello in some ways, but in reality it's a distorted amp om my DAW.Now, I'm looking for a Kemper profile that can do the same.
I do realize I need to avoid pick-attack, hence the Ebow, but it's all about the sound.
Since it's hard to search for a profiles because no-one would name his Kemper profile 'Cello' or so, I was wondering whether someone found this sound in a profile maybe by accident. Here is the video I took, that's the sound I'm looking for.

Any recommendations for the screws to use to fix the chassis connectors onto the penal?
I think I need these correct?
https://www.thomann.de/nl/neutrik_plastite_a_srew_1_8.htmNot sure whether these are strong enough to hold the plugging and unplugging of cables all the time.
Any recommendations?

Thanks a lot for your replies. So then, I also need cables and solder connectors for the other side (the side that connects to the Kemper).
THose connectors I can figure out myself I think and I know how to solder.A few more questions:
- What would be your advice to shield/protect the backside of the chassis parts of the connectors to avoid shortcuts or interference
- Which cable type for the XLR connectors? At Thomann I only could find XLR cables with connectors on it whereas I just need the cable to have it cut and soldered in the right length.
Thanks again in advance!

I was just wondering what would you advice.
I actually want to make a patchpanel that covers the following- Alternate input
- Return input
- Direct output
- Monitor output
- Speaker output
- Main output L/R
- Midi In
However, when I search for instance at thomann,I see this: https://www.thomann.de/nl/thon…+afdekplaat_107402_1Those panels only have the same size of drilled holes, whereas the MIDI and jack need different hole sizes to say so.
There is no 1U panel that exactly is prepared for the connectors mentioned above.
I can imagine I need to go for the standardized setup (so, 1 type of drillhole fits for every type of connector),is that the so-called D-standard ?? Can anyone clarify. So what would be the best for me to use?
Looking at all replies in this thread (for which I'm grateful) I think the solution @Franne500 used seems the best match for my needs, correct?
Then of course I need to order the desired connectors and cable.
Could this also be ordered at Thomann? Please advise, thanks in advance.
Anyone please?
