Thanks for adding the DI profiles. Is it just me or do they "break" if you crank the presence? Anything above 3 and it sounds like there is a loose connection somewhere in the signal path?

Wow, you're not kidding. Loving the JCM800 Solo profile for rhythm guitar with my PRS. So chunky and dirty!!!
Is there a Solo profile as well? I can only see the MG and HG profiles (in both Studio and DI versions). -
I used the word "theoretically" in the context that I was recreating your theoretical scenario. I confirmed that the reading "would indeed in this case be inaccurate". I'm 100% with you on that, musicmad.
The point was that, practically-speaking, when you turn the knob counter-clockwise "past 0", there's no "-0.0" possibility 'cause the parameter range in this case doesn't cover negative values. Any reasonably-paced left turn past the zero point should therefore result in a "true" value of 0.0, and it's at this point that folks say the Pure Cab™ algorithm is still audible.
Well let's not beat it to death anyway :). On my unit there is a tangible amount of "turn" before 0.0 turns into 0.1 so my money is still on a visible decimals cause of this behaviour.

In the scenario you described, you'd have to nudge the knob clockwise a minuscule amount, theoretically, in order to achieve that 0.04 setting before it registers as 0.1, as I'm sure you'd agree, musicmad. The reading of "0" would indeed in this case be inaccurate.
As I understand it 'though, if you turn the knob counter-clockwise even that tiny amount past the point where it reads zero, the parameter's true value will be zero, and many have reported that the Pure Cab™ algorithm is still faintly-audible at this setting.
Oh it's not theoretical at all. We face it almost every day when we see things like -0.0, <0.0>, +0.0 in the display. Also it's not possible to sync two tremolos manually due to this (unless you count in beats of course).

Actually, it's intentional.
Kinda like how many outboard EQ and mic preamps are passed through with all settings flat for that certain mojo they impart.
I think it's related to the fact that 0.0 could actually mean 0.04 etc. Which is just confusing. But that goes for all parameters and is reported elsewhere. -

Update - love the HG one. Been playing with it for 30 minutes. Sounds great! - thanks for sharing.

DA = DI? Yes please

I have experienced the issue with not being able to assign a stomp too. Will look out for it again. But haven't been able to consistently reproduce it.

Hi there,
I have a few sounds that are slowly evolving with morph rise times around 10 seconds.
Problem is if I switch to another performance after 9 seconds and then back and re-engage the morph it continues where it was a 9 seconds.
I would it expect (need!) it to start over. Is there a workaround for this or is it a bug or feature?
-
The problem is more due to the fact that going bank up on the remote scrolls the rigs down on the kemper
For you perhaps - I think we just have two problems then. Hence my clarification of what I think this topic is about. I could be wrong though as it isn't 100% clear to me.

Just for the sake of clarification. I'm thinking something like this:

That was a great board btw.

Guess I'm not the only one

Yeah awesome stuff. Enjoy your right/left-hand synchronization too - tight AF. Any tips? (OT I know :))

It's because the pedal mode is set to touch. Change it to on.
-
Are you using rig manager? I think you still have to store changes on the unit itself. That has confused me before at least.
-
No love for this one

I have this too. I suspect (and I think it was confirmed at some point) that it happens because even though the looper is set as POST it still get run through the cab simulation again when you change to another performance because of some bug. If you are able to consistently reproduce it please file a bug so it can get fixed.

I don't use any particular order. Why? Because this is a professional product and it shouldn't matter!
