How about buying a sitar for sitar sound?
I know, L know ... crazy ideas I have
I heard of weird people who buy amps or acoustic guitars.
-
Ukulele? Bouzouki? Banjo? Harp? 12 String? Etc...
"We" either need simulators for all plucked instruments (or one "Kemper Plucker" stomp to simulate them all) or just buy a Variax. Much easier.

Off topic but… I grabbed my Variax with its guitar (and sitar) models after a few years. It still sounds very good. Sitar somehow is the sound that is often requested but somehow never used… at least I hardly ever hear it anywhere.

The Kemper is a miracle.
Somehow it is. Have fun.

Welcome and have fun "living" and loving it ?. As said above, the Kemper packs from the download area could be a good start. If at some point you should be looking for U2 patches you can ask me. Or you could open a new thread where we all can exchange such ideas, tips tricks and patches for different songs, bands and sounds... either way have fun!

Hi and welcome.
This is how I use it, too, 50% of the times (IEM/silent stage + foh). Have fun and enjoy your unit!

As a fan of combo amps I am enthusiastic about the new line6 catalyst form factor and the many ways you can use it as standalone or in combination with modellers. I thought what a cool idea it would be to put a Kemper's guts into a Kemper powered speaker and make it a Kemper combo. I would buy at least one for every rehearsal room I play.

Hi!
Cool how the Kemper user family never stops growing, even after 10 years .

Hi! Cool rack, similar to mine - before I switched to the stage.

Welcome and good luck with your tone and your own profiles! Should not be difficult to get good immediate results, even with the Stock profiles, but taste differs, of course. Personally I recomend Michael Britt.

Hi and welcome. Nice survey... will we hear about the results somewhere?
