balazs Thanks this for this man! I admit, by 94, I was on to other things...heavier things and Primus and RHCP, etc. I honestly never listened to any of this album save for maybe a single that I may have heard back in the day. But damn, this is some great stuff. Unfortunately, a lot of the great 80's bands were lost and forgotten by the mid 90's and I'm sure there are many other gems like this out there that I turned my nose up to at the time.

Yeah, crazy....I always wonder when I see them in the studio, are they recording with them or are they profiling their studio sounds to use on the road? Maybe both.

Watching this great video and noticed some pretty flashing lights in a rack...

Huge Ghost fan myself....sorry I can't help but I do know Tobias records a lot of guitars with Orange....as for specific model, I do not know.

Previously relied on mainly BM Friedman profiles but this time I mixed my favorite BM Friedman with the Engl Powerball that came loaded on my Kemper. I think it's a wonderful combination! Enjoy!

Dave takes another little Kemper dig about 7 minutes in....Great Jake interview though overall. Jump to about 12 min and Dave talks about the cranked Marshall being the ultimate classic metal sound...so he does acknowledge what sound he is after.

Still loving my Bert Meulendijk BE profiles! They are inspiring a lot of new ideas. Thanks for giving it a listen.

A tribute to my kids. First song recorded with my new Kiesel bolt. Featuring Bert Meulendijk Friedman profiles. Thanks for giving it a listen!

Thanks man! Yeah I grew up admiring all those 80's reverse headstocks so had to do it. For any of you guys interested in aftermarket killswitches, the one I installed on this bolt was by Iron Age Guitar accessories. ironageaccessories.com . Works and looks great. They have multi colored and even LED models.

I'm a Carvin/Kiesel guy....aside from my 74 Fender Jazz. Just got the Kiesel Bolt which is now discontinued and replaced by the "Delos". Absolutely loving it so far. The other, my favorite guitar of all time, is a Carvin CS3.

MuddySludge Excellent! That new reverb makes it sound anything but Lo-Fi. Caught me off guard a bit also. I'm so used to bluesy, funky down and dirty grooves from you. Very cool left turn!

Awesome all around! Great guitar tones!

Thanks MS! I had a Mic Mechanic 2 that I use with my band so I figured I would try recording through it and it works better than what I was using before.

I realized my vocal sounded like a cat in a cold shower so recorded with a different device. Hopefully better!
Guitar profiles are all from Bert Meulendijk's Friedman pack.

Mnwarrior26 I will PM that info to you.....not sure commercial profile info can be discussed here????

Chris Duncan I agree 100%. I would never have been exposed to many of these amps if not for my Kemper. And like you, I have gravitated more toward the Friedman profiles than anything else. They have become my primary live profiles. I don't think Kemper is causing Dave to lose business at all. I don't think most people think, "should I buy a Kemper or a Friedman?" I think most people are like me. More willing to spend that much money on the Kemper to give me access to unlimited sounds vs spending it on one amp, which is the way most of us were prior to using the Kemper. And yes, there will be those who go out and buy the real amp after using it on Kemper. So, I don't see how he is suffering because of it??!

Very cool! Great dynamics. Great production. And great guitar tones throughout. Well done!

ToneDeaf Wow....yeah....my kids are into rap and hip hop but this is some crazy shit. Nice Flea and Manson cameo. I also watched another Die Antwoord called "fatty boom boom". If you want a real crazy trip, watch this one! And 52 million views. One of the comments below this video pretty much sums it up...."My parents caught me watching this. I switched to porn because that's easier to explain."

Thank you so much gentleman. MuddySludge Im completely at home with lo fi. I realize you can only polish a turd so much....but I do enjoy the process of making that turd as shiny as is possible using the gear I have....lol
