The dropouts were regular and short and timed around two seconds apart. The warning light on my interface blinked every time it happened. Another strange thing happened with the previous beta. When I would start up the profiler and then run the sound through S/PDIF into Reaper to play alongside a track, the track tempo and pitch had changed as if I had changed the sample rate from 44.1 to something slightly faster. I don't know if any of this helps but it has forced me to restore to the release OS which works fine with S/PDIF...

The latest beta is triggering a drop out on my S/PDIF connection. I had to revert back to release OS...

Go to 4:30 in this video for official announcement of the two new reverbs due in OS 6...

And there are two more reverbs planned in OS 6. Ionosphere and Formant. I am looking forward to formant the most because it just blows everything else away from what I heard on the Tone Junkie's video.

1. Kemper. 2 Trinity.

I am on Windows 10 and that was the latest version for my platform. Are you on some other OS?
-
Just make sure you update Rig Manager itself before you try to update the profiler.
-
Did you update Rig Manager? It should be at version 2.1.74.14250 to work with the latest OS release...

Most of that sound is bass. I would imagine the guitar tone is thin as hell to accommodate the fat juicy bass.
-
Check your mains power. There could be something causing the noise on the power line.
-
To get that feature, you have to purchase the Remote. There is some obscure way to enable the looper via midi but I am not familiar with it. Maybe someone will chime in with this info...

Clip 2. There's something about the harmonics in clip 1 that leads me to believe it's Kemper. It sounds more real if you know what I mean...

I looked at the heading of the post really quickly and saw "Mr. Kemper got fired!"

I just tried it there now with the factory installed rigs that use the old reverbs and the settings all change with each rig. Whether they mess up the reverbs I don't know because I have nothing to compare it to but they sound fine to me...
-
You can go straight up to the new version since your rigs would not have been affected or changed by the previous OS...

I watched Carbon Based Lifeforms (I think it was them) do a full live show on what appeared to be an iPad.
It was a bit much for me as far as performing music live is concerned but definitely could not deny that technology to make electronic music came a long way
That reminds me of this video...

I agree. Even with pops in profile changes on Rig Manager, I would never go back to pre-new awesomely spectacular reverbs. I love them too much and they make everything so much better.
-
No but you can put any effect in the X slot.
-
Im not getting this at all. Just tried tonight and changes between rigs is the same as before..this is using very high gain profiles as well ( Engl, Soldano etc).
Plus no issues with reverb mix or sound. I can't directly compare but seems fine to me. Interesting to see how this develops..
Here is a sound sample. I played a chord and then changed rigs in Rig Manager. You can hear the pops for each rig change.

I can confirm the pops and clicks when changing profiles in Rig Manager. Everything else seems fine to me though...
