What bass amp tone stacks would people want?
Is there a list of iconic models?

If it’s a class D amp (which I believe it is), it should work fine into the effects return. Class D is the same type of amp the powered versions of everything Kemper use.
I’d also bet that the return goes straight to the power amp. Most likely no eq or tone shaping.
IMO - this issue has been solved.
I'd rather get something like a Fishman Triple Play Connect, use pretty much any virtual instrument available and never be tied to any single device or brand for sounds.
I like pedals as well. I’ve never been able to get the Profiler to do a close enough approximation of the KOT or the Tumnus Deluxe.
Call me snobby, but I waited 4 and a half years to get that KOT without selling a kidney. I also like to make stuff. So….i built a custom rack and drawer.
Hack to get this:
Press the amp button to activate the controls.
Page 3 displays all four parameters. The screen persists even when you change rigs or complete performances.
But he’s not new. He’s been on this forum since 2021.
Regardless of what four zeros mean (B, M, T, P), the OP would like to see their values. It’s no more complicated than that. He’s said nothing about comparing them to other rigs.
Just that they’d like to see them.
It’s like asking “Why do you need a new guitar? You have so many?”
“Need” has nothing to do with it. Want, however?
“But it makes no sense.”
So? Your (my….anyone else’s) understanding (or lack thereof) is irrelevant. I want it.
If you dedicate a spot - you lose the ability to move it.
Screw that.
I’ve used three dirt pedals and a MIDI switcher in the loop for a couple years now. I don’t use prebuilt rigs.
I find amps and cabs I like and then build the chain. My loop varies location. Could be A through D depending.
I’m not sure why so many people insist on telling the OP why they’re ‘wrong’ for wanting this. That they’re ’doing it wrong’.
They want it….you don’t.
So what?
Yeah….that was called for.
Or, y’know…..not.
A bunch of people make versions of those.
One is Barefoot Buttons
Search “barefoot pedal buttons” on Amazon and you’ll find a gazillion knockoffs.
Somehow, I think the guy whose last name is the same as the company would be correct.
But that’s just me.
Maybe submit a support ticket?
I had no idea! So no indication if you're sharp?
Quote from From the Player manual:Display More
The three TUNER LEDs on the front of the PROFILER Player are always active, so you can monitor your tuningwhile you play. Even when you're not in tuning mode, the LEDs give you general information as to whether your
guitar is in tune or not. If a guitar string is far out of tune, only the outer LEDs will be on. As your string gets closer to
the correct tuning, the middle LED becomes brighter. If your string is in tune, only the middle LED will be lit. So, to
tune your strings, make sure that the white LED in the middle is on, and the surrounding green LEDs are both off.
If you want a more advanced tuner, you can either hold the TAP / TUNER button for a moment or press an assigned
foot switch or put an expression pedal configured as Volume Pedal into heel position to activate Tuner Mode. While
Tuner Mode is engaged, the LED row on the front panel will act as a needle tuner. Alternatively, you can use the
BANK button to switch to strobe tuner.
No worries whatsoever.
The Ampero II Press should work just fine. Cool look!
Like any expression pedal, you’ll need a TRS cable to connect it. Other than that you should be set.
I’m not aware of any other multi-taper pedals. The Mission Expressionator is its own thing, but has selectable tapers.
$400+ for an expression pedal is crazy money. Especially considering you’ll most likely find the one taper you like and be done. Like having access to tens of thousands of Profiles…..and I use……two.
The Telonics mimics a variety of well-regarded pedal tapers. My thought would be to buy several models, test them and return the ones you don’t like.
I’m using a Neutrik ne8fdp as part of a custom rack I’ve built for my Profiler.
Works flawlessly.
You only need an expression pedal for a Kemper.
No need for a dedicated wah/volume, the extra cabling and being stuck with it all in front of the input.
For small footprints, the Dunlop DVP4 is a good option. I’ve been using its big brother for years.
You can set it to control volume and wah when you place that effect in a slot.
The manual should help, but keep asking questions.
Connect the wireless receiver by cable to the talkbox input, the talkbox output to the Kemper. You'll need cables, but your guitar will be wireless
This.
Uhm…I dunno…..I guess……..wow?
Kemper *is* resource limited. That’s not conjecture, they’ve said as much. Repeatedly.
Mountain out of a molehill.
Best suggestion I have is to load some effects in Mod, Delay and Reverb and start messing around.
No way to tell what a 'good' stereo rig will be for you or the next person. Tons of people love MBritt or ToneJunkie or Mattfig profiles etc. I've never found one of these I liked very much. *shrug*
What others think sounds good doesn't necessarily mean very much.
