Since OS 7.0 the corresponding Rig Manager revision 2.3 is able to handle presets (besides Rigs and Performances). This capability didn't exist in earlier Rig Manager versions. Since the whole set of factory presets has been revised to fully accommodate the new Effect Selection Page introduced in OS 7.0, it's worth to exchange the entire set of factory presets against those listed under Preset Packs/Kemper Factory Content 7, which includes all the new reverb presets.
Thanks Burkhard
Now, I think what we'd need would be a way to selectively install factory contents.
I for one would love to just get reverbs and delays back but nothing else.
Just a clarification: if I use an old factory preset will it sound the same as the corresponding new one? Or has the sound itself changed?
Would you specify what has changed in more details?
Thanks again
I use a volume pedal
It's a bit more involuted, but you could also switch to an input preset where Clean Sens would be set to 0.
Wouldn't you be able to use 11R as an interface? Will you have to sell it?
I guess, this is related to output presets. The replace feature has just been introduced for effect presets. It's not available for input and output presets. And I'm not convinced, this is really needed. How often do you need to modify your output presets and how many do you have?
Speaking of my personal workflow, the need for editing a preset is not a remote possibility at all, specially on the first days, when I try and optimise it and may want to change something.
Fascinating that the KPA's logic structure is not as "modular" as one would believe. So are I/O presets seen/managed differently than other ones?
... they did not implement it?!?
Yep, I'd love one too
Open KEMPER Download Page, select Rig Packs, download KEMPER Reverb Presets, instructions how to import included in that package.
BUT, these are just the presets. The reverb algorithms itself are included in OS 5.7.0 public beta. If you are running elder OS, you need to upgrade.
It seems they are not there any longer? all I see are KAOS, Rig Packs, RM, Manuals, Brochures, Press, Utilities...
What am I missing?
Thanks!
I personally wonder how many people would need a Kemper that's more powerful, 'because of the fact that you can't run 2 profiles at once'.
I've certainly heard people asking for the possibility to use two amps at the same time.
One interesting application of a 2-profile capability would be running profiles of dirty pedals along with the amp profile. It seems to me this is more requested than the former.
Thank Paul
So, the request makes sense... final user has more freedom to properly comment their library.
I am not sure if it's this or that, but I seem to remember than at least one of the two issues was not fixable because it depends on the signal routing.
It seems I can't find the thread with the quotation ATM...
Makes sense to me
Is the Freeze a Global option?
If Freeze is active in a module and not in another, wouldn't just the former be frozen?
I agree
I assume the user can edit others' rigs' tags?
It should not affect the outputs where Cabinet is Off, but IIGTR it does because of a bug?
I find Bill to really be able to make any effect's character shine.
He certainly is the best demonstrator I've heard for effects
I wish Electro Harmonix and Kemper would merge
Oh, I would suffice Kemper had some of EH's spirit in developing fx that give a guitar player that sonic versatility, as if they were playing synths, bass, organs and other instruments.
EH's style fx plus a TC Helicon's style BodyRez would make the Profiler the best unit I could ever imagine for anything guitar-related.
A new device from EH.
It as well is able to add a lower octave to lower strings.
On a side note, I find the very first sound example amazing

Beautiful videos, thanks for sharing
the part I loved most is where the engineer sais "I had no clue as how to reproduce that sound"
it all feels plastic
well... it is
