In Kemper terminology Stomps are the 4 slots n front of the Stack section. ABCD are Stomps. X/Mod/Delay/Rev are effects. If you have it in X that is a stereo FX.
Ah copy that. In which case, I have it as a stereo FX. Is there another way to use an fx loop that I'm missing?
There are no stereo modules Pre Stack. I wonder if you are trying to insert a Stereo Loop in the mono Stomps section and this is causing some sort of conflict?
I've had the loop in the 'x' module for years now, which is a stereo Stomp right? It never caused any issues until one day it started to digitally distort. I uploaded my backup onto a friends Kemper recently and plugged in normally and there was no digital clipping. Wondering if its something to do with my Kemper specifically that is not right!
Agreed but the EFX loop can be placed in any of the 8 fx slots.

It’s placed in the stereo modules pre stack.
I've been running the same pedal board for years and the Kemper has all of a sudden started to clip when I have the Stereo Loop module turned on. Nothing has changed on my board; no new cables, no new pedals, no changes in gain etc. Both the input and output and monitoring in the green when I play, so I know I'm not overloading with signal or outputting too much signal. It only stops clipping when I turn off the Loop module.
Has anyone else encountered this?
