You need to go into Audio/Midi utility app on the mac and create a combined interface.
You absolute hero! The above advice worked a treat. The only additional thing I had to do was change the Focusrite Output Clock source from Spidif to Internal. Thank you very much.

I'm feeling a little lost at the moment.
When I used to have an imac, I plugged the kemper into a focusrite via spidif, with my monitors also connected to the focus rite and everything worked fine.
I've now switched to a macbook and nothing seems to work anymore.
With the addition of usb recording, I'm even more confused.
I guess my question is, is it possible to record in via usb, but still use my focusrite to power the monitors. Is there an idiots guide on how to setup the kemper via usb to logic.

Is there any chance you could build 3 or 4 clean guitar tracks into rig manager, so you can audition amps without playing please?
A looping 4 chord sequence and a looping guitar solo for example?
