I played live and the soundman plugged my kemper into the pa and it made a pop noise and wouldnt work. When i got it home i turned off the power amp feature in the Kemper and connected it to an external power amp and it works fine. I am pretty sure the power amp is fried. Are there factory certified servicers in arizona?
Did he plug the "Speaker Output" into the pa?

Who has relocated their remote connection terminal, maybe onto a front panel or other location to lesson the use on the KPA terminal?
Anyone put one of these inline with their remote cable?
Obviously, a short ethernet-cable is then used to connect this to the actual KPA.
I'm wondering has anyone experience issues by using this "heavy duty" connector + cable as a result of a this additional inline hardware?
Do you get away without a PoE for the extra few inches?
I use one of these on my patch bay so I'm not wearing out the actual kemper jack.

Well, yeah, but its not on.

Never can hurt to give equipment like this some breathing room.

Do you have to pay for the repair?

This thread has me very afraid of upgrading to the new version. I think I will set this one out and let them get this figured out.
Right there with ya on that...

Just so the moderators don't kick me out a week after joining, lol, I won't go in to specifics, but......
I bought my first commercial pack a few nights ago and the guy's 5150iii Profile is STUNNING. It is now my main heavy rhythm tone. There are soooooooo many 'meh' 5150iii Profiles online. I must have tried 100 of them. And then that one came along.
Which one is it?

Stein - I'm right there with you, I profiled my Peavey Jsx and id say it was about 98% and what little I could tell the difference I was able to dial in what was missing for an almost exact copy. Can't imagine running this system any other way, period. Use my 4x12 cab for live and 2x12 for at home use with the same speakers.

While everybody surely is interested in announcements of new versions by Kemper, I also think Kemper should be clear about what is contained and fixed in a new releases.
Statements like this: "This version also includes a couple of fixes..." are not satisfying users, they are at least obscure. For me this expresses as if Kemper wants to hide what's going on.
Kemper always includes what has been fixed...

1 on the right side for volume/wah.

Sounds like you need to put in a support ticket.
-
Always worth a try if things are sounding strange to you and if you don't have a ton of stuff on there.
-
Have you done a factory reset?
-
Really think we could use a boss ce-2 or 3.
-
Really wish they would add just a simple boss ce-3 or ce-2. Feel like the chorus effect has been somewhat neglected.
-
Would love to get ahold of these tones as well!

I agree running it @25 watts IS loud as heck. That's why I'm wondering if anyone had actually ran it at like 400-500 watts daily for a length of time and how it held up. I would really think someone has done this with all the touring Kempers out there. Not everyone goes direct. I wonder if Kemper/B&O tested this amp at full rated output in like the EVH test. (running it cranked for a month and see if it lived)
Do you know the brand of power amp that's in these?
