If your pickup is too close to the strings, it can pull on the string, thus causing it to go sharp. That's the reason most neck pickups have magnets with less pull.
Well, I would call this rather "pickup height" than "pickup location". The sound of such pickup must be horrible
3. I don't know it for a fact, but I suspect that different pickup locations may give slightly different tuning. What PUP position to you use?
I wonder how pickup location can influence tuning???
how do you copy and paste on a stage? i forgot
Main Manual 8.5 is perfect source of such info. I strongly recommend to download it and use it. And as wrbi wrote, this particular info is on the page 54.
I think ricepr wants to copy whole folder structure at once to the RM. And currently this is not possible.
ToneJunkie has a lot of great profiles but definitely not for heavy metal. It is bad choice!
You should contact support!
What can I use the Powered Kabinet's output jack for?
See Main Manual 8.5, chapter Kemper Kone, namely page 104!
What about USB switch instead of hub?
Did you save the performance after you renamed particular slot?
After a while I wanted to create new performance in my Stage with Rig Manager:
Rig Manager: 3.2.65
Profiler OS: 8.6.6
1st Scenario:
- I arranged 2 Rig Manger Windows, 1st one with Profiler/Performance selected and the 2nd one with Local Library selected
- then in 2nd window I right click one rig, select Copy, than went to the 1 st window and Paste to the first slot of new performance. And the whole RM stopped correctly respond and the only way to get to the normal operation was shut it down and start again
2nd Scenario:
Than I tried to do the same only changend "Copy/Paste" to "Drag And Drop" method and everything worked fine.
Is this behavior correct?
.... I've contacted support through their portal literally dozens of times. The only response I've ever had was to a forum post, that told me to go to the portal and submit a tech support request, which I had already done dozens of times before and also since. I've always sent them links to download the crash reports. I've used Wetransfer so I'd get notified if they actually DL'd the crash reports. they've never DL'd a single one. I'm generally very forgiving and understanding, but this has been a black hole.....
I wonder, why you just don't attach crashlogs to your mail?
Ever see a manual for Windows? LOL. I don't even remember getting a manual for my tube amps, pedals, or my guitars. You just put everything on 10.
I know you like jokes but it is a bit misleading to compare manual for tube amp with manual for KPA! Fleabag63 needs to know that Main Manual exists and how to get it.
What about USB stick?
I pluged the headphones direktly into the front-input
Which KPA model you have?
Thanks Burkhard, in the meantime could I use this?
Leem AB-10 AB box footswitch (soundhousegloucester.co.uk)
No, you can't use it. See what Burkhard recommend you:
No, that is a signal switcher. You need two simple momentary normally open switches like the PROFILER switch 2-way.
You connect this to one of the PEDAL sockets of the PROFILER via TRS cable.
You select PROFILER Switch from the menu on the corresponding PEDAL configuration page.
You assign Looper Start and Looper Stop to the two switches A and B.
Or you can use 2 separate switches like this one http://soundhousegloucester.co…s-5u-unlatched-footswitch
Download Main Manual 8.5 and read pages 142 & 143. I would recommend you to read the whole manual as well.
I am not sure what you exactly mean! Could you be more specific?
....The problem is the quickstart guide is generic and covers all models, with no diagram of the back. It refers to Speaker OUT/Monitor OUT regarding cabs, so I didn't realise....
That's the reason why you should download and read Main Manual 8.5
Information about imprint selection per rig is available (among many other usefull info) in Main Manual 8.5, chapter Kemper KONE, page 97. You can dowload Main Manual here.
