It could, but is not recommended by Kemper, because the result might sound bad. However some users tried it and were happy. So it is up to you.

It's not that I'm not wanting to follow your advice. It's because I don't know what you mean by making a backup. I don't understand the process and I'm afraid I'll screw things up.
Main Manual 8.2:
page 320 ... Creating Backups
page 321 ... Restoring Backups

Good idea. How do I turn off the power section?
What about to check the Main Manual. Even though I have (unpowered) Stage it took me less than 3 seconds to find it.
-
All the settings will be the same. I haven't changed any of them.
Again, what Poweramp are you using with unpowered version. This could be the main cause of the different sound (if the other settings are the same as you wrote).

Well you wrote it - you have deleted all rigs from "MyProfiler". If it was on purpose than it is ok. You can delete/copy rigs how you wish, it is up to you. You only need to have source (your local library, Rig Exchange, factory content in RM... etc.) to be able to copy rigs back. Sorry if I didn't get your point.

Option A is fine but following option ...
C. Unpowered Pofiler and Powered Kabinet
is better than your option B in my view.

When I name a performance profile, it keeps the same name for all 4 profiles on the level.
Is there a way to individually name each performance profile?
Not sure if I understand your question. Each performance consists of 5 slots. You can set name for the whole performance and also you can set different names for all 5 slots. You can do it either on Profiler itself (see Main Manual) or via Rig Manager

What part of the editor is missing? Are you looking in the Profiler manual or the dedicated Rig Manager manual?
I am talking only about RIG MANAGER MANUAL (Main Manual & Addendum is perfectly ok). Important info about creating & editing performances is missing ... there is nothing about Rig Manager Editor .... etc. The last revision date is selfexplanatory - February 27, 2020 4.42 pm. In the official download page there is even older version, it is called Public Beta Manual, dated December 5, 2019 12:00 pm.

Don't you think something this important (that you believe makes a key element to stability) should at the very least invite a mention somewhere old manual excuse or not?
The idea that it is not, is what makes me wonder if the software was intended to have you switch, (browser/performance) or if users have just found that it may work better that way haphazardly.
I can write & publish manual addendums in one day and I do at my job regularly, It's not that big of a deal if you know what you're writing. I'd love to have that job at Kemper!
I fully agree. My comment was just my observation, that RM Manual desperatly needs an update. On top of what we discuss right now for example the whole editor explanation is missing etc...
-
I don't see that anywhere in the manual..... Wonder why if it is crucial?
Unfortunately, the RM manual is a bit outdated now!
-
According to my experience when you work with performances in RM than Profiler MUST BE in Performance mode. Otherwise it behaves erratically.

Check if your headphone volume is linked to master volume, if not link it and than just turn it down as desired with master volume.
-
There is absolutely no help or literature regarding page 1 and 2 of the output section with the output source and volume respectively. ....
1st of all you didn't indicate which model you own!
Have you downloaded main manual?
https://www.kemper-amps.com/downloads/5/User-Manuals
It doesn’t ship with a printed manual as they are constantly updating the software and the manual may be out of date by the time the unit reaches the customer. For each model there is description of the output button in the "Front panel description" (see content) PLUS there is dedicated Ouptut section chapter with full description, see pages 103 - 119.
Hope this helps!

What OS version is your profiler running?
-
I have beyerdynamic DT-990 Pro and I am quite happy with them. Very balanced & neutral sound. Offering of the open back headphones is quite limited though.
-
You can use application Rig Manager to transfer profiles to your Kemper via USB.

My understandig is NO! It is written somewhere in the manual (chapter about Kone).
Here it is - Main Manual page 98-99:
The KEMPER Kone speaker and KEMPER Kone mode in the PROFILER are a perfect match. Therefore, please do not run the KEMPER Kone without the KEMPER Kone mode activated. You should also refrain from running the KEMPER Kone speaker with any sound generator other than the PROFILER. If you do, it will not sound good, and will certainly not sound as intended. The same applies for running the KEMPER Kone mode into another speaker — this will also not sound good.

Since the latest update, if I press the "EQ" button on the Kemper, the entire Amp module also turns off.
I'm presuming it's a bug in the update (the latest one, with the new Fuzz) , though let me know if there's some setting I might have accidentally activated that could be causing this.
This has been already discussed here many times - search forum. However It's not bug.
