Just updated to latest version successfully. I thought I could copy an effect from a performance slot with the editor.. Does not let me do that... So I guess you have to do it in browse mode? How to see a slot from performance mode in browse mode then? Thank you

Is it possible to put the freeze on a footswitch then solo over it with a different tone?

Or is changing the tone only possible when looping?

Hmm the thing is I don't get this when playing through my Zoom or other amps.

I get this only on the Kemper.

The open G chord creates a Feedback. The E chord does not.

I am getting a strange feedback kind of noise whenever I hit an open G chord (afterwards)

Happens with any profile with a bit of gain. Does not happen when playing other chords.

I am attaching a file where you can hear the noise/feedback after the G chord and you will notice that it is not there when playing an E chord afterwards.

Playing directly into my Apogee Interface. Kemper Output Level is -12Db Using a Telecaster.

Increasing the Noise Gate on the Kemper does not change anything. No clipping on the sound card either. I can't figure out how to get rid of this noise. Any ideas? Audio attached

You can play around for more feedback on the 2 delays, or to get a different mix of the 2 delays (in the dual delay) to get the desired amount of repeats. Also the main effect mix seems to have a pretty profound effect on the sound as well.

Thank you very much. I had the chance to try your patch. The delay setting is really interesting and I can work with that. I am just trying out a few other profiles and reverbs with it. Very helpful indeed. Thanks!

OK. So I got something to work with. At least for "Pride". Not perfect yet

It is based on the Tonejunkie Preset . I edited slightly and added a Delay in front of the amp.

What I find strange is that I had to use the legacy delay. The Dual Delay would just not work.

Still struggling with the settings for "Where the Streets have no name". Also tried a few profiles from rig manager. But the important "Delay popping" for the repeats is just not happening..yet

Otherwise, please note that i perfectly know what tone i am after and how to dial it in in (I played in a U2 Tribute band a few years back and had no problem recreating all tones with my Zoom G3X.

This is me playing through my Zoom here. And this is the delay sound I would like to recreate in the Kemper.

Of course there is always the option to put the Zoom in the effects loop. But I would really like to use just the Kemper

I am having problems dialing in the standard Edge U2 Delay setting 1x dotted 8th + 1x Quarter note Delay on the Kemper to make it sound right.

With my Zoom i have 0 issues nailing the delays perfectly but for some reason on the kemper either the repeats do not cut through or it is too unclear.

I tried the Dual Delay, 2 single delays, some profiles from rig manager.

Maybe somebody has a useful U2 Delay setting to share?

Thanks for the suggestion. 13 won't work. The thing is just that at 12 it does work, but I have to really push the pedal and lift my heel to make sure it really hits the octave.

I just got a Mission Expression Expression Pedal and was able to configure it thanks to the wonderful tutorials from Thomas Dill.

I have a strange thing with the Pitch shifter/Whammy. If I use a one octave up type whammy I literally have to push the Expression Pedal with a lot of force to get the full octave. Otherwise It will only do something around 11 semitones which is horrible.

Pedal is calibrated and works fine for volume and wah

Is there maybe a setting in the pic shifting or a special setting for doing whammies I have overlooked?

Of course i tried the page button. When I hit it after selecting the Dual Delay the menu changes to Reverb instead of showing Dual Delay Parameters. Every once in a while it does show parameters. I'd like to understand what might be the reason.

When i select simple delay i get shown all parameters (Mix etc) directly.

However, when i select Dual Delay I dont get to see the delay parameters?

How can I with simple delay selected just change to dual delay and still see mix note value feedback etc?
