  • Hi FlyingSnowman,

I came across your More Black Pack searching for a Marshall Major profile,

My intention is getting a Frusciante tone, which uses the Major for a clean, bassy sound to interact with a slightly crunchy Silver Jubilee. My question: is there anything in your pack that recreates the settings in the pic below?

I'm still learning to use the Kemper. After you profile an amp, does it have any flexibility? I.e. will the EQ behave the same way as if you dialed it in the amp before profiling it?

    • Hi,

I looked at the settings of all my profiles and unfortunately I do not have one with the settings you sent... Blackmore never used the Presence, it was always on zero.

Kemper doesn't provide a tone stack for the Major. As the Marshall Major was quite unique and not comparable to other Marshall models, you cannot use the tone stack of another Marshall Major because the results will not be authentic - they will sound nothing like the original amp. I guess Kemper didn't release this tone stack because of the fact that the Major was out of production quite quickly, and there have only been a few thousands released... And most of them are not even working anymore.

I can try to make a profile with the settings you provide, if you bought my pack (will need your email address for that to check). But it will take me some time (read: weeks/months) because I'm going on holiday this week. I'm not sure about the jumper cables on the picture though... Not clear to me what he did.

  • Great!! Kind regards, Ulf

    • Hi, the download link worked well. I sent you an email a few hours after I got your email, so you have the file now and can delete this message. Thanks!

  • I sent you a song using the P-Rail.
