Hi! Saw that you use an apollo twin. I was thinking about replacing my apogee duet with an ua apollo twin mkII...any thoughts? Thanks! Dan

Hi Dan, I love it. The plug-ins are very, very good. I only use it to track guitar, so I don't have any experience with vocals yet, but I have a friend who tracks vocals through his Twin and an SM7b. I am having a recurring issue though... when recording amps at low volume, and turning up the pre's on the Twin, the output from the Twin fluctuates, unless I pull the XLR's from the back of the Twin and re-insert them. I'm not sure why that's happening, but that pulling the XLR's seems to fix it consistently. Here's a couple of short tracks I did for a friend that is looking at one also. These are all mic'd guitar cab (amps at gig volume - LOUD), with the Neve Pre plug-in and a low cut, directly into Logic... no other processing. Three different styles attached... 1. Low gain, 2. Strat neck blues riff, 3. High gain hook. Pardon the mediocre playing.
Let me know if you have any other questions... happy to help.

Awesome! Nice recordings and playing. Love the mids in who did you think I was....Couple of questions. Do you record kemper into the twin, if so what is your setup? Does the twin have a standalone "console"? If so can the standalone console use the plug ins without using logic? Can the guitar input be inserted into the kemper and the twin simultaneously, if so how? Do you use spdif, if so, what converter do you use? Thanks!
