Just curious. I wonder if it's live and passes or receives any data...
Anyone tried to connect anything to the Ethernet port?

I was thinking the other day that it may be used to juice the forthcoming foot controller. .That's what those ports do on the Axe Fx and on my bean pods anyway.

Hi,
yes, I tried. It is working and getting a DCHP address.
Afterward, there some some packets (sort of a heartbeat) that are sent every few seconds from the KPA. Apart from that, I couldn't get in any opened TCP ports.

There's a web server serving a placeholder page on it.

The Web Server is new. A few firmware version ago, port 80 was opened but wasn't returning anything.
I didn't play with this since then.

Would'nt it be nice to implement the librarian via this internal web server ?
Not caring any more about pc or mac or ipad or ...
And if Christoph really wanted, he could get easily ressources in our User Group to implement it.
I would give 10k Points

I'm having fantasies of plugging my Variax into that jack for power and guitar/pickup/tuning preset switching....

I need some power connection from the ethernet to my roland foot controller fc-300. It works well without ethernet but I have to change batteries all the time.

The FC-300 has no Ethernet Port, but a RRC2 Out (Roland specific). Also you can power it with an AC adapter, no need for batteries. -

No, it's been there a long time.

A REST api would be great too.
