A perfect friend for my Kemper. Thon Rack 5U Eco II Compact 23. Not the toughest case you can imagine, but bang for the buck.

Nice!

Looks good!
-
Nice! So you can open it both on the front and the back, can't you?
-
Nice! How did you mount the kemper?
-
Nice, where did you found that kind of foam?

The Kemper is accessible from both sides. Front and back are covered by the case without the lids. I got the foam from a friend of mine who happens to work at a foam factory (wish my other friends worked at a bank)
It is a layered foam of 1 centimeter thick, glued together and cut into shape. The leather strap and mounts on the side of the Kemper got removed. The rubber feet are still on. Inside the case I glued one layer of foam (1 cm thick) to the bottom and cut out the four holes for the feet. On the top there is one layer of foam inserted which keeps the Kemper in place (not glued). The sides are cut out so they fit nicely and keep the Kemper from moving sideways. I believe six layers.
The lids are also filled with foam. I will make picture tomorrow, because I am watching a movie right now
Thanks,
Roel
