Are there any news, if the new RM might suppot something like this?
-
Mhhh... it would seem a huge step to me
-
Having a professional DAW plugin to control the Kemper will be a great feature, so +1 for me!

Hi Kemper,
looks like here is the place to put feature requests... I have one:
what I would really really need, is a Plugin for DAWs...
I do NOT want a VST, that generates sound and makes the Kemper useless, but something like the RigManager inside the DAW. Something, that communictaes with the Kemper and is able to save the Kemper settings and the profile on the current track, so that I can recall this setting by the press of a button.
Example:
1. I record a track in my DAW using the Kemper
2. Some days later, I want to add something on this track - but I dont know, which profile I used to record this track and if I did, I pobably dont now, If I "quickchanged" some minor parammeters and how...
So, on ths point, I would like to be able to click on a Plugin of the track - and it loads the profile and settings to the Kemper...Would be great...
Best RegardsLet me just +1000 this real quick....

Try this:) CTRLR panel to upload any kipr file to kpa
https://www.dropbox.com/s/b206…ploadToKpa.panel?dl=0Next step will be to create a simple panel to load and store vst plugin which will be stored when session will be stored:) I hope this is possible;)

You can do so with impulse responses! At least have the convolution plugin remember the location of the IR and load it when the plugin loads. So it should be possible.

So in this case the simple plugin which will be loading kpir and saving kpir automatically when the DAW will be openning session or project will be enough?
-
I'm thinking it needs some separate functions:
An interface to load (or maybe just "look for") the profile from a location specified by the user (like browsing for an impulse response in a convolution reverb). That location is saved in that part of the plugin, so the plug knows where to look when next opening the session.
A button in the plug to send the profile selected in the step above to the kemper. It shouldn't do so automatically - I think.
When the profile is sent, the plugin reads the parameters (eq, gain etc etc) - or maybe that happens automatically when a profile is loaded into the kemper?
The plugin remembers the specific settings made within the plugin, or tweaked on the kemper ONLY while it is open. OK, here it becomes a bit complicated maybe, I don't know. You want to be able to tweak the kemper for a different take on another track after all. Don't know what the best workflow will be.
Anyway, the plugin then remembers the profile and the in-plugin tweaks and saves it, so you can recall it when next opening the session, by clicking the "recall to kemper" button
I don't think it is necessary to SAVE anything other than profile name/location and tweaks made, as long as the profile that is referenced in the plugin stays in the same location.

What is this .... When can I get it?
-
Well, long story short...
-
-
Does it work? Thought it was abandoned with missing features and or bugs
-
As long as there is nothing official, I will keep asking for it
All other solutions might work - but you never know how good and until which fw update.. -

You're right.. AFAIK it wasn't develop further. -
but it works...
