I'm most likely joining up with some fellows in western MA who need a guitarist to resurrect their long time band. Their gigs are pretty much all covers and will range from a couple '80's tunes through heavier grunge and '90's metal even into a little of the dreaded modern rock. I'm looking for suggestions when it comes to profiles in the Pantera/White Zombie/Tool/AIC arena. I'd like to peg the slightly earthier Cantrell sound and obviously wondering about Diezel profiles for the Tool sound. This is an unexpected development for me but I am trying to be open minded. I'll be using a PRS Swamp Ash Narrowfield, a PRS Standard 24 and an SG. Recommendations welcome!
