What kind of wood is the neck? If it is maple, the alder/maple combination with a Floyd will make it similar enough to a superstrat to use pickups that work well in those guitars.

It's alder/maple, neck through, with a Kahler hybrid bridge. But it's not strat scale, it's 24.75", more like a Gibson. Also, I'm using baritone strings, so there are a lot of lows. Need something that sounds defined, while at the same time is high output. -
Based on you wanting to use baritone strings, you might want to consider ceramic pickups. I find they keep clarity when down tuning or using heavier strings. Something like Seymour Duncan Invaders or Duncan Distortons , for examples.

I have Invaders in another guitar and they sound quite good to me. But I'd really like another tone with this guitar, don't want them to all sound similar.
